Remarks

This is one of the best colleges in Chennai and as compared to any other college the fee is quite decent and the main thing is that the academics here is excellent. The hard works really pay off in this college.

This course comes with the challenges that pertain to any engineer in this world which requires knowledge and skills that is provided by this college. The faculty: student ratio is 1:10. The faculty here at any discipline in the college stands to make a statement.

Class Size: 53Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The college collects an annual fee of Rs. 2 lakhs for the ECE course other than the hostel charges which are of three types such as AC type is Rs 1 lakh or Rs. 1.10 lakh depending upon the nature of the bathroom attached or non - attached. The non Ac hostel is Rs. 60K. Apart from this, there is mess fee which is again Rs. 60K.The scholarship here is not quite up to the mark.

Campus Life

Campus life is too subtle. There are not many events or happenings in the Ramapuram campus. This campus mainly focuses on learning and academics however over the past few years they too have started to celebrate festivals like hoi and Diwali along with the constant festival of the south - Pongal.

Hostel Facilities

The rooms are all equipped with separate ACs for each room. Each room consists of two occupants. Hostile life is quite good. Each room is equipped with a separate bathroom. The rooms are all equipped with wifi services and they are cleaned on a regular basis.

Placement Experience:

B.tech students will be eligible after they complete their credits before the 3rd year and usually that is the period during which they will be eligible for placements. For integrated M.tech it might be after the 4th year in 5th year,they could get a year for internships which is good for students. This might be considered as my interest in this course.The placement is around 95 percent.My plans after getting the degree is to become a highly skilled person and to get a job in google. Many companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Qualcomm, etc place our campus.There are no such companies that visited and made no offers.

A review about KARE

Placement Experience:

In my college placement start from 7th semester, students get eligible to sit in drives. Many companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some core firms visited and gave good no of offers. Highest package was around 10 LPA and average near 4.5 LPA depending on profile, mostly software dev, testing and few core engineer role. Around 70% students got placed last year, rest go for higher studies or other prep. My plan after finishing degree is to first try campus offer then aim for higher studies if I not satisfied. Overall placement is decent but still more core companies should come.
