Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum concentrates from macro level details like mixing, designs , quality check of construction material and the methods of construction during early civilization. Designs and Visual arts are the areas of interest.

Placement Experience

The campus interview team organises many job fairs and campus interviews every year. Top ranking companies in construction industry visits us for internship and recruitment. The students are provided pre interview skills sessions to face the panel confidently.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total fees is 7,50,000. First year fees is 2,50,000 because of many one time fees like uniforms, lab, eligibility and miscellaneous charges are collected. After the first year the fee will come down to 1,25,000 per year for the remaining 4 years.

Campus Life

The college has a vast area of ground for outdoor games like cricket, volleyball, hockey and cricket apart from other indoor games. The college participates in inter college sports events. Every year sports day is conducted among students and awards are presented.

Admission

The candidates should have completed plus 2 in physics, chemistry and maths with 50% marks. They should have also appeared in NATA and cleared it with 40% marks. After this student should submit the application form along with necessary certificates for verification.

Faculty

The professors are a combination of architect and professor, they are well versed in high rise buildings, residence and commercial projects. This helps the students in getting practical exposure in the field of construction.

Course curriculum is amazing but again the aheets given and the expected submissions for a 1st yesr is too much and the pressure is high .the teaching methods r basically every 10 students r allotted to s mentor who then guides them thru the design process

Bmsca - spilt thoughts

Course Curriculum Overview:

You'll indulge in a lot of painting and are related stuff. Well since Architecture is not only about art, there are subjects which will use up your brain cells. You also get to go to study trips too! The ride is not smooth- everyday would be a submission day , everyday would be a love-hate relationship with the course. Internal reviews,external reviews, viva and jury, presentation and assignments, written exams...theyre enough to keep you busy throughout. Since its Affiliated to vtu, the system does seem not so updated to date. You cannot expect to have a month of holidays after each Semester too. Dont dream of having a pleasant vacation break.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is more condensed that other colleges', so it makes it easier to tackle multiple things at once. The course prepares us for real world applications through their dual internship program, which is a strong point in their curriculum. If the course in itself had more real world applications, instead of very superficial ideas, it would be more helpful The exams are a hurdle, but it comes with the rigor of the course, and it is something students end up adapting to over the course of 5 years.

Course Curriculum Overview:

If you check with other colleges the approach to the curriculum is different and more fun. The process of learning is more fun and appealing making us satisfied of what we have done at the end. Sometimes we don't get how the teachers are expecting us to do our assignments but we figure it out some how. Exams happen twice a semester (mid-sem and end-sem).

My College Sucks

Placement Experience:

Since our HOD changed this year, I'm not sire about when the placements are available, most probably would be for the 5th year students so 9th sem onwards. Not sur3 about which companies either, highest package would be 8000 I'm guessing, we don't get paid much. My plan is to switch courses, this was absolutely useless to me :)

Comprehensive review of architecture curriculum

Placement Experience:

After 10 semester Students are eligible for placements. Yes,from last year they iffer on campus placements with highest package of 11 lakhs which is really good according to this course. average package is around 6 lakhs which is also decent. 15 out of 30 students could get the placements that is 50 percent. I am planning to pursue masters degree outside India after this course

The eligibility for this course is through NATA which is the main entrance exam for this course. Also, you can take one more exam which is JEE Paper 2 which is related to the Architecture field. But NATA is compulsory for architecture. The application form for admission can be taken from the college website or by directly visiting the college admission office. Application dates start once the results are announced. As far as my knowledge i don't think there are reservation benefits but you can cross-check once if you can avail those benefits....Read More
