Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology (IHBT)

The campus life of the institute is very beautiful. The institute is surrounded with the beauty of mountains. This brings in great environment for study. Apart from this, alumni students are helpful, staff is great.

The curriculum is well-maintained. Every important knowledge and aspects of the course is taught in this diploma. This two year diploma course has research projects which is great for the students. I am satisfied with the curriculum.

For diploma students, the institute does not provide any placement opportunities. But the students are constantly made aware of the job opportunities and internships which can benefit us in the future.

The fee structure is very feasible. The student can easily pay the fee for diploma course. I am from low middle class family and paying fees gets hard for me sometimes. But I never faced such situation here.

Debates, group discussions, seminars etc. are involved in the extra-curricular activities. This is done to enlighten the students with better knowledge from more experienced people. I am always interested in such activities.

There is no specific admission criteria for diploma course. The students can get admission on the basis of first come and first serve basis. I was well aware of this process and therefore i did not waste a single second to get admission.

The faculty members are very intellectual. They are aware of what they are teaching to the students. The experience of the teachers speak for itself. Every doubt related to the research projects etc. are cleared by the teachers well.
