I gave SNAP to enter SITM. I opted for this college because of the boom in telecom industry and wanted to be a part of top B school for the same.
Internships Opportunities
We had a lot of companies onsite for offering internship and the stipend used to vary on the company. Top class companies were part of the placements and they also offered PPO(pre placement offers) incase some of us did a terrfic job.
Placement Experience
Very good placement offers and I think its only getting better every year on Day 0,80% of our batch was placed in different companies. Packages varied from 6 lpa to 13 lpa which was great for 2011. Companies include telecom operators,consulting firms,Big 4s,VAS providers etc.
College Events
SITM was full of events we had a separate events committe which did a phenomenal job. We also hosted an international telecom seminar which is our flagship event. Alongwith that we had communique with prominent leaders from different companies speaking about current issues.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible not too expensive. I think to be able to run a college of such pride and having the faculty of that manner requires investment. The campus was beautiful and so was the residential area (hostel).
Fees and Financial Aid
Not sure of the scholarship facilities. I took an individual education loan-not connected to the college.
Campus Life
Symbiosis international university attracts not just indian nationals but also international students and it is made with international standards. The college is extremely well maintained with equal gender ratio rather more women. It was a college which believed in diversity and inclusiveness.
Hostel Facilities
Excellent hostel facilities neat and clean with a scenic view which is best for concentrated studies. Free from hustle bustle of the city. The mess food was mostly better than expected and there are also other eateries place so it was not a problem. It wa
Alumni/Alumna
One of the best and strongest alumni network. We have annual meets in different cities. A lot of placements are on account of the almuni. These parties are hosted in excellent locations and are always fun to attend.
Exam Structure
It was standard neither too hectic,nor too relaxed. This is usually based on symbiosis international university norms.
Faculty
Faculty sets this college apart. We had the best faculty who had deep knowledge of the subject. Some of the faculty members were also invited from the industry to provide us latest insights and give us the best information which is most applicable to the
