Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The curriculum is very standard, I have learnt a lot from my PG than UG. There are two internal exams f0r 40 marks per exam and there is one end semester exam per semester for 60, 40 marks from internals is taken into account. The regular classes are not hectic, we have a stress-free live in this college.

Placement Experience

4.5

There are no options for placements in this college for M.Sc as far as I know, but there are placements opportunities for us, many pharmaceutical companies come here for recruitment, the salary is good. For PhD students the amount of stipend is Rs. 8000 here.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is Rs. 28500, very feasible by all the students in the college, there are scholarships opportunities for toppers, if they could not afford the fees. This fee is very less when compared to other colleges as far as I know.

Campus Life

4

We have many extracurricular activities like NSS and cultural events like dance and music. Sports like Cricket and many other games are played here, there are intercollege events as well. The labs are in good condition, we have a great time learning.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel, unlike many other colleges, is compulsory for the students as commuting to home and college on a daily basis may end up hectic to us. The fee is less, the rooms are spacious with essential facilities including attached bathrooms.

Admission

I got the admissions based on my scores in the entrance exams the college conducted and also the marks I obtained in my previous degree. The admission process is very transparent, I managed to get good marks in both hence I got the desired course.

Faculty

4.5

All our faculties hold a PhD degree in their specific subjects, they are very informative, they work on projects which we later can join in our final year for project work, it is very inspiring, it is because of these teachers I aspire to take up research in the future.

In the second year of the MSc, many adtech companies come to the campus to hire students. In 2025, 95% students are placed who are interested in the placement of MSc Mathematics. One of my batchmates got an INR 48 LPA package at the Tech company Accenture Japan. And the average Package is an INR 17 LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The things that influenced me include clinical work, which is interesting to me. The curriculum does not prepare you for real-world applications; you need hands-on & clinical practice Teaching methods are already good. For curriculum, more emphasis on real-time clinical exposure is necessary Frequency was one in 3-4 months. Difficulty level can be 7 out of 10

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is excellent in every way! The course, which I did was of Life Sciences, and it's curriculum was absolutely wonderful! The syllabus had been designed such that it perfectly aligned with the syllabus of various exams, such as CSIR, GATE etc. And also, for the end semester dissertation, our university allowed us to pursue it from any other institute or university if we wish to, and encouraged us to do so. And because of that I did my dissertation research from SLS, JNU, in cancer biology.

Placement Experience:

This is year 2021 when we have probably 1000% more jobs in IT than 10 years ago. It is much easier to get in Tier-1 companies. The answer was still a BIG no back in 2010 when two of my closest friends did not get placed in college placement and it did turn out into their favor as they cracked even better companies than the ones at college. Math is simple only if you wish to do it: Assume that you will work your entire life until you retire. Let’s take the most pessimistic scenario of an average employee’s life. Total span of employment: 30 [no one remains unemployed for many years if they really want a job] Years
