Remarks

All the teachers of the college are experienced and proficient in their subject. The entire college has a wifi network. E-Learning is also a priority in the college with all the other educational facilities. The college campus is very good. The classroom has projectors so there is a facility to teach through video. A college is at Swargate Pune location. Candidates who want to be an architect have to appear for NATA aptitude test. It is a national level entrance exam. The exam is held twice a year. for regular updates please visit www.nata.in website. 12th exam (PCM group passed with min 50% aggregate marks) I search for top ten architecture colleges in India on google so I got this college listing on collegedunia.

To showcase my creativity in architecture choose this course. Faculty student ratio is 40:1. All the teachers of the college are well experienced and proficient in their subject. They completed M.Arch and they have 20 plus years of experience. It is also useful for students as some professors are worked with some companies on similar projects.

The reason i choose architecture because it fascinates me how a place can be developed into holistic place interests me . The curriculum has some good inputs but it doesn't make you industry ready extra efforts should be taken to learn advance softwares extra classes newer research etc discussion on advance technology becomes important in modern age how architecture is changing is not discussed

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of exam is twice a semester and good enough. Guest lectures are good and helpful for the future preparation.There must be a change in teaching styles of the faculty and more site based experiments through the course for better understanding than only in class studies , the beauty of historical buldings made me wonder about this course

Placement Experience:

For architecure departments, usually there are no placements, but since this Institute is autonomous, they have startes conducting placements drive. Last year 10/12 students were placed in good firms all over banglore, pune, kolhapur. I plan on applying to different firms all over Maharashtra and would also hope to get placement via college since the packages that are offered are good. Placement percentage is anywhere between 12-15%. The highest package offered was around 5,40,000, average package for a architecture student would be-around 3lakhs.

Placement Experience:

There is no campus placement for architecture students. After completion of the degree, one can apply for jobs or opt for masters. Architects get an average starting salary of 20-25 thousand. The course is pretty expensive including college fees and printing prices. One can also open a private firm and earn enough money. There are very few open students getting placed. My plans after getting a degree are to apply for masters. For a teaching job, one must complete masters.
