Remarks
First-ever college in the rural area offering opportunity for engineering education. The Institute was one of the dreams of great visionary Late Shri Rajaram Bapu who wanted to provide engineering education to the students of the rural area and thus develop the area.
Course Curriculum Overview
Employment was very good with the discipline. Required faculty to students ratio was maintained as per AICTE rules. All the faculty members were with MTech/PhD qualifications. The personal attention was given towards students for better learning. The examinations were conducted as per the time tables published by Shivaji University, Kolhapur. The supervision during exams was very strict. In fact, the Institute was well known for this fact.
Internships Opportunities
No internship concept was in the early days. However, students were getting selected in reputed industries for jobs after their successful training which was given by industry professionals.
Placement Experience
As the institute was quite young no campus interviews were conducted by organizing placement drives. However, students were guided with personal attention and were prepared to get employment in industries. More emphasis was given on self-employment. This is why same large no. of the alumni of far earlier batches are now seen to be the successful entrepreneurs.
Fees and Financial Aid
Financial assistance was given to the students. For the students from economically weaker sections, earn and learn scheme was implemented. Students were facilitated to pay their educational fees in instalment. Needy students were guided/ motivated for taking higher education. Efforts were taken for offering jobs by contracting industries.
Campus Life
The annual gathering was one of the best events organized in the Institute. The science exhibition, technical workshops were the commonly organized programs. All the classrooms were provided with necessary facilities. A spacious seminar hall was also constructed to organize indoor programs. More attention was also given to sports. Our students could get the opportunity to play at university, state-level competitions.
Hostel Facilities
The Institute had four hostel buildings connected with mess facility nearby the Institute in the campus only. Television set, carrom boards etc were also provided nearby to the mess for entertainment. Good quality food was offered. To check the quality of Random inspection was done by authorities.

The admission process was purely based on the guidelines of DTE, Mumbai/AICTE, New Delhi. The process was very transparent.
