Internal assessment and final exam Mark's 800. There were three years degree course. First year 200 Mark's in honours subject excludes pass papers. 300 Mark's in the second year excludes pass papers and 300 Mark's final year and compulsory subjects like English bengali.

Placement Experience

There was no company's attendance as it was an honours subject mainly literature and theory. We gave examinations under vidyasagar university.

College function and 'nabin baran'. Firstly we attended the college nabin baran function as we were the new comers to the college. There held a college function during the middle session of the year and we enjoyed very much to that program which was held by the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

No. Fees structure were very good. We had to pay fees two times in a year. Firstly during the admission and at the last of the session. In general students there were low structures of fees and for the honours students there was a few high structure of fees.

No. I didn't get any scholarship during the college period. But I got a chance to get scholarship for which I applied

Campus Life

They were very good. Sports campuses, labs were too good. There was student union which was always helpful as well as friendly. Students book labs were very comfortable and helpful regarding the students opinions and students needs. Union members were busy to delivers books

Alumni/Alumna

No. College seniors were always good and they were helpful when I faced any problem. They helped always.

Admission

Merit list. I submitted all of documents of higher secondary examination and after 15 days the college administrators selected me as an honours student in English. There was a merit list in the college guidelines. I ranked 13 among 90 students and this process pleased me to admit there.

Faculty

4 teachers in English. One professor and others were guest teachers. The teachers taught very carefully and we attended the classes regularly. There was different topics on that subject and different teachers taught those topics such as literature, drama, novels, etc

The field tricks are done sometimes to make us understand the reality and the course is really good. I love that and the field trip helps us a lot to explain and to learn things that happening around us and foods are provided from the school or sometimes on trips, I'm really happy with my college.

GO FOR IT!!

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are several prospects, especially peer-to-peer counseling, where you get a mentor. We call it mentor mentee program. So, there will be groups of students, and each group will have a mentor who helps you whenever you face any issues whether in real life or in your academic journey. They’re always there for you. There are also remedial classes, and extracurricular activities are included in the curriculum. You even get the freedom to choose what you want to pursue creatively, like joining poetry clubs and similar groups. Right now, I’m at Banaras University, and the curriculum here is really good. We have sessions on public speaking, how to conduct interviews, and many other practical skills. These are highly commendable because they help you in professional situations like the one I’m in now. However, I would say that teachers could be a bit more active with electronic tools like using PPT presentations or audio-visual methods instead long lecture sessions. As for exams, I wouldn’t say they’re too difficult because there are many weekly assessments and sessionals, which actually help you evaluate yourself better.
