Remarks

My pricipal was a little grumpy he had a little conservative approach and didn't believe in the modern educational trend such as taking coaching for GATE. But I can't comment about the recent principal.

Entrance Preview

Private entarance + 12th marks were needed for admission. I felt that completing B.tech in CS was the best option as no. Of jobs in IT sector has increased tremendously.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The curriculum was same as the university to which the. college is affiliated i.e. CSVTU. All other details available on csvtu website. The pre set curriculum and syllabus was in accordance with demands of the time and different for each branch.

Internships Opportunities

Local firms / companies such as IT 11 offered internship to us. We were placed under the supervision of industry experts and got a hands on experience while working there. The stipend ranged from over 3 thousand to Rupees 8 thousand.

Placement Experience

4

When the final year, many nationalised companies came up to our college for campus placements. Reputed companies conducted thier written preliminary exam and the short listed candidates were called up for interview. The selection ratio was 1:3. The companies were Op Jindal group, Mahawar health etc.

College Events

3.5

The college organized annual function in the month of Jan. In which many cultural programs were showcased. Also Tech. Fairs were organized in which students from other collges too were invited.

Fee Structure And Facilities

We need to pay the fees on yearly basis and it is fiseable. Since the college has a good number of students, the fees does not range too high and hece the need for. Scholarships isn't there. But the provision for scholarship is still there.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are scholarships only for those students whose parental income is less than 10 thousand. But as mentioned earlier the college fees. Is fiseable and doesn't range too high hence scholarship is needed only by very less fraction of students.

Campus Life

4

Parties such as those of farewell are conducted with great zeal and zest and other competitions such as rock band, debate etc. Are conducted in collaboration with other local colleges.

Hostel Facilities

3

I was a day boarder. The college's hostel isn't in the campus itself, its in the city. Nevertheless if u want to opt for a PG, it would cost u about 4 thousand per month with all facilities (meals too) included.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very supportive and act as mentors for us in the early days of the college. The alumni comes from time to time to the college to make us aware of the latest trends going on and this is very beneficial for our development and learning.

Exam Structure

The semester exams are conducted at regular intervals. But, enough prepration time is provided to us.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty were experienced and taught the syllabi of the university well. However, if u are targeting GATE, you need to join institute like THE GATE Academy only. The gate academy (Bangalore based).

Placement Experience:

Final year students are eligible to appear for campus placements which starts towards the end of their 7th semester. Companies that visited for Civil Engineering: L&T, Adani, Stratview Research, PlanetSpark and several local firms. The highest packages were offered by Adani (approx 7 LPA) and L&T (6-7 LPA). Around 5-7 students received placement offers from the mentioned companies. It is important to note that a lot many students did not sit for campus placements as they had different career aspirations (government jobs, higher education, business ventures etc.) My plans were to prepare for upcoming competitive government exams as well as try my hand at something different and creative

Microtex, HCL, Wipro and many other IT companies gives us research projects and also their work as well. So, we basically have indirectly worked for them and the ones they feel can add more to their organization comes with a clear mind and take us with a package that we expect them to. So, placements are purely on performance as those who perform well are given best of placements.
