Entrance Preview
NMAT was the entrance exam of the NMIMS which is mandatory to get admission to the college. The admission process consisted of entrance exam, group discussion and personal interview. The entire process was very exhaustive and measures the candidate on all parameters.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was structured to give the students a peak into all aspects of the business during the first year of the course as every student has to study each and every subject such as finance, marketing, Operations, IT, HR, Stats etc. 2nd year takes care of a more detailed and in-depth understanding of a particular course of interest. Students are allowed to choose a major stream with a minor stream of specialization. The course consisted of group learning, assignments, surprise quizes, individual assignments, presentation etc so that every student gets to understand the importance of team and presentation.
Internships Opportunities
Yes the college provided internship, infact every student has to necessarily go for 8 weeks of internship. The placements were done by the college with some of the prestigious companies visiting the campus. The general stipend was INR 15,000 - 20,000 with a few of the students getting as high as INR 30,000. The experience of working on projects with the corporate world is great as it provides a first hand understanding of the corporate culture and also help the students to identifying their preference with respect to corporate career.
Placement Experience
The placement was great with the entire batch getting placed on Day 1. Being in Mumbai has its advantages with a lot of companies visiting campus for placements. Some of the marquee names HUL, GS, Kotak, ICICI, Barclays, SCB, KPMG, Deloitte, ICRA, CRISIL, Mahindra, Cadbury, Britannia, Coke, ITC, Infosys, CTS etc. representing all the sectors providing adequate choice to the students.Average pay was INR 8.5 lakhs for the batch with highest placement was INR 18 lakhs. A couple of students even getting internationally placed.
College Events
Every society has there respective events which was part of the overall cultural event of the college. Some of the events were pan India with students from various MBA colleges across India participating in the same. The entire cultural activity was like a celebration in a grand scale providing balance between competition and enjoyment.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The course fee was INR 6.5 lakhs including hostel accommodation. Fooding was seperate. The entire fee was very feasible and could not be considered as expensive given the placement scenario. The payback was less than a year which was very feasible and non expensive.The fee have undergone massive change and the course is on the expensive side now.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college being a private college did not have any scholarship, however the fee structure was not very expensive. Also the college being in the top 15 MBA colleges in the country, loan was easily available from various banks which was hassle free.
Campus Life
The campus life was great and the gender ratio was pretty good. Total batch strength was 350 with 25% of the students being girls. The college provided adequate avenues for extracurricular activities, competitions, sports etcThere was no gender, ethnicity, race, religion disparity and everyone was treated as equal.
Hostel Facilities
The Girls hostel facilities and mess food was good. The hostel room was on sharing basis but the facilities provided was of very high quality. The hostel was in close vicinity of the college though not part of the college premises. The security in the hos

The alumni network is very strong. Alumni are working in some of the very prestigious companies across the world. The alumni is very helpful and is always available to support the young students in solving their issues be it regarding the career options or gyan on corporate culture.
Exam Structure
The exam structure comprises of written exams, quizes both scheduled and surprise, group assignments, case studies, presentations, etc. Each year had e semesters with equal weightage. The days were very hectic with lectures, group assignments, preparation
Faculty
The faculty members were of high quality with all of them having adequate number of years of work experience. A few of the faculty members were also industry experts and have worked in the industry which provided us with valuable live experiences. The fac
