Remarks
Infrastructure of the college is poor.Departments of english and commerce of this college is really good.And these departments has a high academical improvement.Apart from that college has a good ambience and is nature friendly with lot of plants and trees.Also the college has perfect indoor stadium,football ground,volleyball court,basketball court etc.The NSS and NCC activities are also much good.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course which I am studying is a three year course.The exams are conducted semester wise.There are six semester.And two internal exams and one external exams are carried out towards the end of every semester.External exams are conducted by MG university where the question papers are prepared digitally.Internal exams are conducted by the college.
Placement Experience
Every year certain companies conducts a recritment process in our college.Companies like MRF,Wipro,private companies conducts recruitment process.Other than recruitment process,these companies also provides free seminar to prepare for job interviews and exams.
College Events
Union day,college day,onam celebration,arts day,christmas,talent day,miss st stephens competition,culture day,costume day,sports day,seminars,traditional day,freshers day,farewell,environment day,departmentwise programmes,and a lot of students participates in these.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The free structure is feasible by the students.For the aided courses the college makes a fee assesed by the government.And it is nearly 5000 for three year.The fee for self financing courses are different.It is nearly 20000 per semester.Any mode of payment is accepted in the college.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes the college provides scolarship facilities for academically good students.Also the college provides scolarships for students who are economically week and for backward casts.The eligibility criteria is that the students should have an average of 75 percent in Higher secondary level and annual income must be less than 1 lakh for economically week students.
Campus Life
Since it is a knanaya college,students and teachers from kananya community is given more preferance during admission and job.But there is no inequalities based on religion or caste.The college provides equaltion based on gender,race and religion.And everyone is given freedom for their own as a person.
Hostel Facilities
Yes I am a hostelite.The hostel fee per month is 4800.The rooms are shared by three students.In dormetory six students shares the dorm.Also the room has three beds,table and three chairs,book shelf and a fan.Each room is numbered and students carries the keys.Hostel is managed by sisters.
Alumni/Alumna
The college also provides a session to interact with the alumni during the alumni meetings.During this session we are allowed to ask about their experience and current status.Also we can ask their own personal opinions.The interactiin with seniors also helps in certain ways to lead a college life and studies.
Admission
I got admission to this college through allotment process.It is one of the famous colleges and therefore I opted for this college.And the course which I am studying includes on the job training which is helpful for the jobs.Also the college has a good department of english.The staff of this department are also very much efficient and qualified.
Faculty
The faculty is very efficient and qualified.The permanent staffs are selected by assesing their qualification and an interview is conducted by the management.The college is under the knanaya Management.There are a total of nine departments and each department has an HOD.Also there are permanent and guest lecturers.
