Remarks

The academics of the college were good. It turned my life very much as I have learned a lot from there. The environment was peaceful. Overall it was a good experience studying there.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course seemed a little difficult at the beginning but later on, I was able to understand it. There were around six subjects in every semester. Every semester lasted for six months. The course duration was four years. There were exams conducted at the end of every semester called end-sem. The exams which were conducted in the mid of the semester were termed as mid-sem. These exams tested my abilities and knowledge about the course and helped me a lot in enriching my thought process.

Placement Experience

3

The placement rate of my college was not high but they provide placement to efficient students like 1 0r 2 out of 10. Companies like Wipro, Accenture, TATA, and NBC, etc visit every year. There is a general trend for placemen the student must have 75% or more without any back. I made a project in my final year for the placement process.

College Events

2

Fresher's party and a camping trip which generally included more than 500 students. The fresher's party is organized at the starting of every session for new students to boost their confidence and make them familiar with the environment. A camping trip to places like Goa and Himachal is organized every for students. Interested ones can give their name and fees to the administration.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It was feasible. They accept cash and card both. There is a security deposit which they will return when you leave the college. If the fees were not deposited timely they used to charge a late fee. Yes, there was a breakdown in fee like if you are not able to pay a complete fee for the year you can deposit in quarters.

Fees and Financial Aid

I didn't avail of any scholarship or education loan as the fees were nominal and my parents could afford it.

Campus Life

3

The gender ratio in my college was like 3:7 girls and boys respectively. There a camping trip and industry visit organized by the college every year. Mechanical labs were there to enhance students' skills and they had various student projects. There were organized motivational classes every week to motivate students.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

I didn't avail hostel of PG facility as my college was not so far away. It was 30 km from my house so I used to do up and down by bus every day. The rent for the bus was Rs 20000 for a year which was nominal. Traveling by bus provided me extra time to study.

Alumni/Alumna

There was a healthy interaction between us, as they were the only people who made the environment of the college become familiar to me.

Admission

One of my friends referred me to this college as he was studying there. I went there with my parents for the admission process. There a mentor from the college administration let me visit the college campus and explained the fees structure. There was a general introduction of myself and then they began the admission process. They provided all the necessary entities for the college at the time of admission.

Faculty

4

The faculty highly experienced as they manage to got to this college by cracking their GATEs and PSUs. They had depth knowledge of their subjects and able to make me and other students the subject easily. They explained every topic and subject with ease. They helped us out in every situation. There were around 150 lectures of every teacher during a semester. Every lecture was 40 minutes. Every lecturer had industry experience, that's the only reason they made us gain both practical and theoretical knowledge easily.

Students become eligible for summer internship (after 3rd year) from start of 3rd year (5th sem) and for the placements, companies come to the college from 7th semester onwards. Companies like jo Morgan, Deloitte, Flipkart, goldman sachs , PepsiCo ,oracle, bny ,ubs , rippling etc come here for placements, some of them come for 2months and 6months internship too. Average package offered by them is 9-10 lpa , jpmc , Goldman, visa they offer till 12 lpa and it can go up for some of the companies . Most of the companies allow to sit for 6.5cgpa and above but some of them allows 7.5 and above cgpa and jpmc allows 8.5cgpa and plus as far I know till now . I am currently looking forward to work in a company and get a placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is vast and allows a student to explore all the possible options to take before deciding on one . The field of elctronics and communication engineering allows one to deal with electronics and learn all the possible tinkering with them which is a very fascinating part as all the gadgets possible today were made of them. The curriculum does satisfy this thirst by teaching about them in the class of electronics and electricals and then experimenting in the lab with them . The areas for improvement could be that if a student is interested in a specific field then should be allowed to venture that field throughly instead of sitting in every class , but that is an imrovement for the indian education system as as whole . The classes of every subject does occur frequently and and exams take place every month in a form of quiz or proper pen based exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I like computer science and I can see my future in this course. The current ratio in computer science courses is around 1:5. And we don't have technical communication teaching at present and the college is saying that they will recruit teachers as soon as possible. The student-teacher ratio in all the branches is around 1:3. All facilities are well qualified and teach well but they are not permanent and hence they may or may not be changed next year. There are two semesters in each year and an examination is conducted after each semester. The difficulty level of these exams ranges from moderate to difficult.
