Remarks

There is a lot of good things to say about the college. Firstly the infrastructure is huge and comfortable. Whole campus is full of greenary and cool. The faculty here are very good and helpful in the class and outside the class also. We have got a very big library with huge collection of books.the library infrastructure itself is very attractive that it makes everyone a bibliophile. One thing I must say is there must be development in our lab facilities. apart from that our campus is simply awesome.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The syllabus I have studied was quite useful theoretically and practically. But I have expected much on lab and experimentation. I hope our practical syllabus was much more better so that it can make us understand what chemistry actually is.which my college lacks in.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement cell in our college I must say is doing a great work. they are making sure every student gets placed.I haven't availed any internships. But as heard from my juniors they are now getting some offers as interns(not sure).and so many MNC pharma companies come to recruit us every year like Dr reddys GVk bio etc

College Events

5

We will be having a lots of events. Every occasion and important dates are celebrated very well. We have got a very big auditorium. Besides it we host so many national seminars. Indian science Congress was held in our university two years back. Every year it is held in different countries. 2 years back it was in our country and that too in our university.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Actually I have gotten a free seat so I need to pay very less.all I have to pay was my hostel fee which was also very affordable. Besides students joined under selffinance quota has to pay 35k in which a part will be reumbersed by the government.the fee was very much affordable I think.

Fees and Financial Aid

For us there is a government provided scholarship apart from that we donot get any other scholarships. The fee paid also will be reiumbersed by the government. But as far as I know after the completion of course the topper of the batch will be getting inspire fellowship.and also a gold medal.and in our batch there was prathiba award which topper of each specialisation will get some money and a tablet phone and a certificate of appreciation from our government.

Campus Life

5

The campus is really huge and very good. It is full of greenary and pleasant to live.our hostles were also very comfortable. Sports and games are very hugely encouraged and competitions are conducted very often and So many other competitions are held on every special occasion. the gender ratio I must say is equal or almost I say 48 percent boys and 52 percent girls. Very friendly environment is observed in everyone there.

Alumni/Alumna

On this note I must say our alumni or our seniors are really helpful when they are in campus and after we went out of the campus also they helped everyone a lot.there is a very friendly environment between seniors and juniors. They provide very useful information regarding study materials lab materials exams etc.

Admission

There was an entrance, in which I got qualified by getting 10th rank and based on our ranks the seats are provided.I have done Msc organic chemistry.for my specialisation there were only 15 seats. I got 10th so I got a regular seat joined in university campus.

Faculty

4

The faculty which taught me organic chemistry were outstanding.I'm not sure about all other specialisations as our course has got four more specialisations inorganic physical analytical and environmental chemistry. As far as I heard from my friends physical chemistry faculty are some what better.

The placements in my college was being worse day by day before year it got some but know no only few got placed not worth of the money we paid , average package is 6 lpa and companies like infosys, Accenture, fractal and many like that but at the initial step only they are sending reject mails . 20 % of the people got placed , my plans are like need to check the job postings in off campus and prepare for that .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is so updated and they focus more on application. They also provide us with the knowledge of emerging fields and opportunities. But i feel like the curriculum should be less hectic for the students. The exams are veru frequent here because there will be 3 internal assessments before the main exams and they are so hectic.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course here in sri Venkateswara university is master of science in statistics. This subject seems to be very interesting and I am very happy with the knowledge that I can get to know from my faculty. Coming to exams and conducting exams they give much time from sem to sem. As it is a semester system we have a lot of time to study. We will be having two internal exams and an external exam. Internal exam is for 20 marks and external exam is for 80 marks on a total of 100 marks.
