Review about CBIT college

Students will get better education in all aspects from our college.

CBIT college is autonomous and affiliated to the Osmania University. The course curriculum is same as prescribed by the Osmania University with slight modification. The curriculum is divided into semester. Each semester contains atleast 5 subjects and 3 laboratories. The labs session are so useful. The curriculum is managed such that the labs and subjects are run concurrently. So, the students will experience physically what he studied in the class room. Coming to exam structure, the exams are divided into internal and external exams. One subject in semester is evaluated for 100 marks. 70 % marks are assigned for external exam and 30% marks are assigned 2 internal exams. The labs will evaluated slightly for less marks. Overall the result will be given in the form of GPA.

Our college is top recorder when come to placement. Top mnc companies like TCS, Infosys, LTT, Cognizant, Deloitte and many more conduct recruitment process every year. Some the companies also provides the internship for students who are final and pre final years. Steps in drive are different from each company. Basic steps in the drive are written or computer aided test consists of aptitude and technical followed by 2 interview rounds consists of technical and hr. Our college provides training for successful attempting the recruitment process.

Every year our college conducts two feasts. A technical feast SUDHI in the odd semester and a cultural feast ShrUTHI in the even semester. In the technical feast various innovations from the students are exhibited. Students from the other colleges also participates in the feast.

Fee Structure is feasible in our colleage. 2Lakhs per annum is fee per student. And exam fee is to be paid separately by student at the time examination. All other facilities like Library, sports, Gym, Labs and etc, are free to access. There is no additional fee levied by the college. Fee is paid by offline or online mode.

Scholarship is given to students who got merit rank in the entrance exam by state government. The college fee is also relaxed by the state government to eligible students who outperformed in the entrance exam. Our college is also provides the education loan to the poor students which will be paid after the Graduation.

Student college life is not restricted to the course curriculum. There are extra facilities available to students throughout the academic year. Our colleage has library, sports, Gym, computer labs, canteen and many more. Student can access any time. All students are equally Seen irrespective of their gender, caste and economic status.

No, I not opted for college hostel or any PG. But some of my friends are opted to hostels. The college hostel is near to colleage and it is very convenient to students in all aspects. There is no PG around our colleage because our college is situated at far to the city.

The senior students are regularly gives guidelines to the juniors. The students in the alumni network gives speech about their growth success and proper guidelines to students.

All the engineering admissions in the Telangana state is done by conducting EAMCET(for intermediate students) and ECET(for diploma students) entrance exam. Student need to participate in the ex am and must get a good rank. 80% of seats in each college is filled by merit in this state wide entrance exam and rest of seats are filled by spot admission by the college. Spot admission starts after all the seats are filled by entrance exam. So, the process and dates are assigned by state government and it is same in all engineering colleges in Telangana.

Our college has 20:1 student to faculty ratio. So, there is 3 to 5 lectures in each specialization of respective stream/branch. The minimum designation of faculty is Assistant Professor. Each faculty mentors the students. Every faculty is so nice to students and they will assist the students with best. They are available to students whenever we need them.
