Which is better - CBIT Hyderabad or VIT Vellore?

Students and alumni claim that a local college in Hyderabad would not be able to give one exposure, like an institute like VIT Vellore. VIT is an established college, with good international tie-ups. It provides good exposure at VIP compared to CBIT. Even if you look at placements, the opportunities are better than CBIT Hyderabad. VIT is a better bet than CBIT for Masters too. Chances of enhancing your profile and skillset at VIT is better than CBIT, where it's a struggle to do so.

How are hostel rooms allotted at CBIT Hyderabad?

The campus accommodates two students residential blocks that accommodate Senior students (II, III, and IV Years, PG) and Junior students (I Years). Both the blocks are separated distantly. The Juniors Block has 20 rooms of equal dimensions with occupancy of 200 students in total. The Seniors Block has 80 rooms with occupancy of 320 students. In a nutshell, 520 students in toto are able to be accommodated in these two blocks. The separation of Juniors Block and Seniors block is due mainly to curb any ragging related act.

Does CBIT Hyderabad follow a dress code?

Students at CBIT Hyderabad should come to the institute in a presentable and decent attire. For the workshops and laboratories, they should wear appropriate uniforms as prescribed and should be aware that long and open (unclipped) hair may make them vulnerable for accidents. Male students should wear shirts and full pants in general and they may wear any decent traditional dress with the approval of the authority. Female students should in general wear salwar kameez/chudithar with dupatta /full sari and they may also wear any decent traditional dress with the approval of the authority.

How are the placements for EEE & ECE Branch at CBIT Hyderabad?

Students from the EEE branch are allowed to sit for placement for most of the companies except for Microsoft and few other companies (maybe one or two ). But the hard part is cracking IT based companies,since they prefer hiring guys who have programming backgrounds as the mainstream. Placements are good for ECE students in CBIT as they get the opportunities in both Core companies & IT Companies.

Students and alumni say that it all depends on the job you are looking for. If you are looking for a core job, there are rarely any core companies recruiting students with a handsome package. If you are looking for a job in software side (mostly mech students get placed in service based companies like CTS, Wipro, Accenture and Infosys), with a little hard work, coding skills and a little grip in your core subjects and projects would definitely yield you a job here. If you are looking for a placement in a product based software company, they are mostly confined to CSE and sometimes, ECE. Most of the students also opt for further education. Here, CBIT has a good role to play because it gives great exposure to both technical and non-technical stuff.

Will an MBA at CBIT guarantee 100% placements?

According to our research, students say a strong NO! This is not only for MBA, but also for branches like CSE or IT who dont achieve a 100% placement rate.Due to few recruiters and more no of students and competitions, the placement percentage is less. Some students will be selected for 3 to 5 companies and some students will not be selected for any company. It all depends on your skills and talent on your subjects.

If the student get a rank under 10000 then there student is eligilble for fee rembersement. If this parents have government job then he wont be given he need to pay the fee. The tution fee will be 1.6 lakhs and exams fee will be 2000 and there will seperate fee 5000

A BRILLIANT FEEDBACK

The tution fee of CBIT college is 140000 and they might increase it to 160000 it is very high tution fee, the middle class people may not afford that much fee structure, after graduation or M.Tech they might get the job in college if the job roles are not fulfilled.

CBIT IN AND OUT (A Tale of Dreams and Disappointments.)

The fee is to be paid yearly. There are many scholarships for caste reservation candidates, for candidates studied in government inter colleges, etc. fees are quite reasonable and justified for the services they are providing.

Hectic time tables for examination , sometimes we feel difficult to manage both academics and our personal plans

-In 2023 fee is increased from 134000 to 184000 -Tuition fee is 184000 sem exam fee 1650 misslineous fee 5500 , approximately it costs 200000 per Annum. -Scholorships from government will be 2.5k per year and may vary sometimes and we can apply for other scholorships personally

Fee will b around 165000 at present so to avail scholarship we have to write emcet and get below 10000 rank being in reseveration category also we can avail other foundation scholarships provided outside

Very decent college

The fees are moderate and the fee of my college is 130000. Scholarship and financial assistance and campus jobs are good. Recently Jp Morgan company came to the college which very famous company offer 20 lakhs

Every course is of the same fee. there may be fee hikes for juniors I am not sure about it. cost of the study is reasonable. if a student gets a good rank in EAMCET exams he or she is eligible for scholarships so the cost of study and expenses are reasonable.

Internships are great in this college

The Tuition fee of the college is 1,34,000. For First year Students the miscellaneous fee is 8,500. later on It is 5,500. Here there is a fee hike bond that the student enrolled during 2019-2022 should pay a fee of 1,86,000 on the outcome of the petitions of the court.
