CBIT Placement 2026: Highest Package, Average Package, Top Recruiters

Ans. Students from the EEE branch are allowed to sit for placement for most of the companies except for Microsoft and few other companies (maybe one or two ). But the hard part is cracking IT based companies,since they prefer hiring guys who have programming backgrounds as the mainstream. Placements are good for ECE students in CBIT as they get the opportunities in both Core companies & IT Companies.

Ans. Students and alumni say that it all depends on the job you are looking for. If you are looking for a core job, there are rarely any core companies recruiting students with a handsome package. If you are looking for a job in software side (mostly mech students get placed in service based companies like CTS, Wipro, Accenture and Infosys), with a little hard work, coding skills and a little grip in your core subjects and projects would definitely yield you a job here. If you are looking for a placement in a product based software company, they are mostly confined to CSE and sometimes, ECE. Most of the students also opt for further education. Here, CBIT has a good role to play because it gives great exposure to both technical and non-technical stuff.

Ans. According to our research, students say a strong NO! This is not only for MBA, but also for branches like CSE or IT who don’t achieve a 100% placement rate.

Due to few recruiters and more no of students and competitions, the placement percentage is less. Some students will be selected for 3 to 5 companies and some students will not be selected for any company. It all depends on your skills and talent on your subjects.
