Remarks

If the budheetfor the different activities could be increased by the college, that'll be amazing.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

It's a five years course with 2 semester each year. There are different arts and mostly law papers. Internal project work is also given out by the college authority every semester which helps us understand the subjects better. We have to analyse different case laws and studies.

Placement Experience

3

No, placements do not take place in our college. But during the last year of the course we have an internship at the high court.

College Events

4

The social committee arrange saraswati pujo, iftaar party and Fresher's party every party for all the students to enjoy have a gala time. Proper meals are arranged with lighting and decorations. The left over food from all the events later on distributed amongst the poor of that area.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Our college being a government college provides is with a feasible fees structure with utmost transparency. Twice every year we have to submit out fees at the college counter to the cashier itself and on doing so we're provided with the money slip. There are special provisions for people below the proverty line as well.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I didn't choose any scholarship programme neither did I have to take any sort of education loan

Campus Life

3.5

We have unions by the student in the campus who try to keep things running smoothly in the college premises among the students. They also arrange all the shows and functions put up by the college every year. There are are different type of sport events arranged by the college sometimes as an extracurricular activity. Students are very welcoming towards everybody. There are no sort of differences made based on religion, ethnicity etc since such ignorance is not tolerated in the campus. Gender ratio is almost equal.

Hostel Facilities

3

No, there are no hostel facility in our college. I live in the same city so it is not required for me to stay at a hostel. I travel from my home everyday. It takes me about 40-50 minutes for me to reach college.

Alumni/Alumna

Ex- students come for the college fu ctiins sometime. Everybody maintains a cordial relationship with them as well.

Admission

There is an all state entrance examination held everytime tentatively sometime around may everywhere. After about a month ranks are released on the basis of how everyone took the test and according to the ranks people get alloted to various government and private colleges. I've always wanted to pursue law because lawyers have fascinated me way too much.

Faculty

3.5

About 6 classes take place every day of 40 minutes duration. All our professors are extremely helpful not only regarding studies but in general as well. Our principal was an amazing guide for all the students but he passed away in 2018. Students can always contact the faculty regarding any sort of difficulties at all times.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen B.A.LLB(Hons.) because I want to have knowledge of law because laws form the basis of society. Moreover, I had an Arts Background therefore, it was a good combination for me to explore and go according to my desired path of career. The count of faculty members of IILS is an approximation of 20-30 teachers and the students each semester is near about 70-100. The teachers are truly well versed in their respective subjects and they're immensely knowledgeable and friendly, they try hard to make us understand in the easiest manner. But the only problem is that the faculties are not permanent, it keeps on changing. The term examinations were always on time except for the lockdown time but this was also managed smoothly within time. In order to know the difficulties I would share a fact and i.e., when I took admission in my Institute there was a total number of 140 students in my semester but no sooner than the first exam held half of them failed and now we're 70 of us.
