Nostalgic life

Each college has positive and negative side. according to me there were lot of things i learnt in college than at home, it was best part of my life.

TNSPC - 70/100. My child hood dream was to do degree in mechanical engineering because this is the field where we can practically see how things work rather than imagining. I love to work hands on and get dirty.

Course subjects was interesting and i felt more practical things need to be included in the curriculum which will give students more understanding on the subjects.

Internship i did in Coimbatore, part of the curriculum and requirement for degree. Not much and it was purely for name sake instead college should arrange and tie up with companies and closely monitor students.

CTS - 3lakh CTC (250 students)HCL - 3.5lakh CTC (150 students)US technology - 45 students (3.25 lakhs CTC)Titan, IBM, L&T and there were more software small companies that took student in few numbers with package around 3 lakhs.

Futura technical symposium which is conducted every year and also cultural events inter and intra college. College day and hostel functions is also organised yearly.

Hostel fee structure was expensive which was around 1500 and not that good quality of food was provided. Academic fee was ok i would say and not like other colleges they used to get money frequently.

There was no scholarship awarded by college and only for students doing good in academics there was something not for students doing good in academics and co curricular.

Campus life is good and management is giving complete protection and security to girls who are in hostels. Students also need to understand and do things.

Hostels rooms were good and best life i have ever had getting more friends and learning more. Separate hostel for 1 year students and t was actually fun i would say.

Not much to say on this as i was not able to attend the alumini function in 2015, but it is been conducted freq. Good to meet old friends and make the network big.

There used to be monthly test for each semester and these marks were taken for internals which is not a mandatory requirement by Anna university. Writing work was more in labs rather than doing things practically which was supposed to be.

Especially there were few faculty members who were much experienced and learnt a lot from them. Some were very new with no experience on teaching. There should be some restriction on this portion.
