If one has chosen hotel management as a career then IHM Ahmedabad is one of the best option for learning and developing.

Our course is very much practical compared to all other professional courses and it teaches one to become disciplined and groomed at all times. The knowledge one gets in the 3 year course is enough for cracking any placement. Regarding industrial visits we have to go through the industrial training for four months in our second year.

Many known companies visit our college for placements. To name a few- oberois, Hyatt, Itc, McDonald's, reliance, Bestsellers, Accor, Fern etc. Institution does take special classes for the strategies regarding placements and regarding the internship the student can apply to any hotel all around the world for the 4 month internship.

Every other festival of all the religions are celebrated in the college. Lohri, Holi, Diwali, Gudi padwa, Ganesh puja and every other festivals are celebrated with joy. Instead of that there are many other events like food fears and annual day celebration in the college.

The fee structure is feasible. Approximately the fee is 3 lacs. For the 3 year course and the fee is to be paid semester-wise. The college accepts all modes of payment be it cheque, demand draft or every other online method. The fee breakdown is very transparent.

There gender ratio is approximately equal. Not student Union or politics take part in the college. There are several events organized by the students like theme lunches and dinners. Extracurricular activities like sports are also there once in a year.

Yes I'm a hostelite. There are triple, double and single sharing rooms. The rooms are decent. There are 120 seats for boys and 60-80 seats for girls in the first year. The annual hostel charge is 50000 including mess food. There are pgs nearby the college in the same price.

Yes the senior students are very helpful in our college. There is a good coordination between the seniors and juniors here.

I got seat through Entrance examination, it is like AIEEE conducted all over India Talented and highly scored guys get free scholarship and deduction in tutuin fees as well the tuition fees for our college is low when compared to other colllages in Chennai city

We have around 15 lecturers and they are of different age groups. All of them are very knowledgeable and have significant experience in the hospitality industry. Every lecturer has their respective expertise and the teach specific subjects according to that.
