My College

This college is very well in imparting practical training to its law students, academically also students are made to involve in live interactive classes. The list is only state university affiliated college in Gujarat providing BBA-LLB to students. At the end of five years, I will be a completely new person ready to take up my own case in court and helping people solve their problems, contributing my part in the advancement of this society as a whole. Now, coming to the first day and year of mine in this college, then it was like a fish out of water. It took me one whole year to understand legal language, moots and practical aspects. But all the while, faculties of this college was very helping and patience with me teaching everything from the bottom line.

It is an integrated course so, at the end of five years, two degrees will be awarded to the students. This not only gives them legal knowledge but also management subjects of BBA. This further opens a students door for pursuing MBA in the field of their choice. Here, the students are made to learn any concept via a combination of theoretical classes and practical application of the same. In this college, the learning method of promodore is used wherein students are taught for a period of 25 mins and then given break, which helps them grasp things faster. Also, spacing techniques are used where a student is made to repeat concepts taught in revision lectures and presentations.

College helps every student getting internship, every semester. I have done a various internship in lower courts, high court and also corporate office. I have worked on certain kind of cases, drafted and also learn practical skills. Right from my third year, I am well versed with high court library operation and different kind of cases dealt in various courts.

LJ group of institutes have a placement cell which helps students get a job directly after the completion of the course. At the end of five years, I will be having knowledge enough to become a legal advisor of any company or go in litigation, taking up my own cases. My college also supports students pitching an idea and financially, those who interested in entrepreneurship and start-ups rather than taking up a job.

My campus so far is amazing, something I daily live up to. My college annually organises the law fest called vidawata at the national level, collective of events like the moot court, mock trials and many more. This college gives a facility of the library of 22000 books which is necessary for any law college and student to develop research skills. Then coming to classrooms, the complete infrastructure is centrally air-conditioned which makes it comfortable for students to study-in. My college has various societies and clubs like that of arbitration and constitutional and many more which help the student progress in the area of the interest, they want.
