Remarks

College management is very strict and not helpful. Some of the members of management are arrogant and stubborns. I would advice the students who take admission in this college that they shouldn't indulge in any conversation with the college management.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course curriculum is based on CBCS you can check the curriculum on UGC website or college website. Exam structure is based on semester system. Exams are held per semester and there are mid sem which takes place in between of all semester. My college provides best knowledge about the relevant subject. On campus placement in not available at a broad scale at my college. You will get knowledge at my college but if you are thinking about placement then there is very limited scope.

Placement Experience

1

There is very less scope of placement and Internship in my college. You can no scope. No company visits the college for the purpose of placement.

College Events

1.5

Only one event is celebrated in our college that is Xavier's Utsav. This is the yearly event which is held in the first or second week of February. It is a event organised solely by the students under the guidance of under cultural head of our college. There are various types of programs which takes place in this event eg. Dance Fashion show Rock show singing etc. Xavier Utsav is our college fest which runs for 3 days. And only college can see the programme not the outsiders.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is little bit expensive. I have paid around 60, 000? for 3 years of course. And also paid 500? each time before the semester exam as exam fee which makes additionally 3000?. Hostel facility is available for only schedule tribe students. There is no additional fees charges to be paid in order to secure admission. And college provides full transparency in fee- breakdown. You will get receipt of each and every penny you pay at the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

College only provide e kalyan scholarship for underprivileged students. E kalyan is the government sponsored scheme which returns all the fees paid to the college during the studying period. This scholarship is only paid to the students which had family income less than ?50000/ annum.

Campus Life

3

There are more girls in the college as compared to boys because there are some course which is exclusively for the girls only. The culture of college is not good infact it doesn't have any culture. There is no interaction with the seniors. Campus Life is satisfactory. There are 2-3 canteens in the college. There is no case of sexual harrasment or ragging in college from many years. There is a system of non academic credit in our college. Under this system we have to work in charitable organisations for 24 hrs. We can complete this 24 hrs periods within 8-9 days. Labs are well occupied with equipment and library has around 12-15 thousand books.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

I have not opted for hostel so I don't know anything about hostel and its fees. There are several PG which is available near college which takes around 5000-6000? per month and provides satisfactory services to the students.

Alumni/Alumna

As said before all of them coordinates you in every possible way, they are really helpful and gives you comfort and provides you the best of their help for your studies they are friendly and guides you through for exams

Admission

I got admitted there directly through the direct admission process, the administration staff were very helpful in providing me the course of my choice, with their help I was able to go through it all. They first made me to see the whole campus and explore it, from class rooms to the various sports grounds, everything is so good there which I can’t put into words, our college cricket team is one of the best in its category

Course Curriculum Overview:

Initially, I chose English Honours because I thought it would be a very easy subject. However, once I took admission and started studying it, I realized how deep and theoretical it is. When I read about the poets, their life stories, and the era they lived in, I became deeply fascinated. My interest in the subject kept growing, and that is why I chose this field."My English and vocabulary have also become much stronger after taking English Honours. I am truly grateful for this."The existing teaching methodology was effective and satisfactory; therefore, no modifications were necessary."

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum can be related a fairly relevant and mandatory comprehensive. While it covers the fundamental concepts required for the subject there is still scope for including more practical, skill oriented and industry focused content. Updating the curriculum regularly with current trends and real world applications would make it even more effective and beneficial for student
