Remarks

Nothing negative. just good and happy vibes. The college has a great campus spanning 105 acres full of lush green trees and plants. The college is built into a peaceful environment or a mini forest to be accurate.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course consists of 4. 5 years of study and 1 year of compulsory paid internship. We get the medical license after completing the internship period. The second year comprises of 3 semesters and all other years have 2 semesters of 6 months each. A final university examination is conducted at the end of each academic year.

Placement Experience

3.5

There is one year of compulsory internship. We are paid 25000 per month at the internship period. As far as job opportunities. it's never too hard to find work at the various private hospitals in the district.

College Events

3.5

The main events celebrated are. The college council installation 2)Hostel day. at both men's and womens hostel 3)Sports day 4)Tamil Mandram celebration 5)Culturals 6)Magazine day function 7)Graduation day

Fee Structure And Facilities

Very cheap fee. less than 8000 annually. Only other expenses are for books and mess fee which is around 5000 per month. Books are a bit costly depending on the ones we buy. But that is inevitable. The college has a wonderful library with all the books we need and more.

Fees and Financial Aid

The government offers a student scholarship of an amount of 16000 annually for eligible students. Indian Overseas bank branch within the campus also offers loan options. Although not many opt for loans.

Campus Life

4

College timings would be 9-5 next after 5 we can play any sports with on period of 3 hrs. Labs all have to complete before college timings otherwise no permissions were allowed for extra lab timings for any students.

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostel facilities are nice too. One room is shared between 2-3 students. The rooms are spacious, well light and ventilated. The hostel also has a mess facility. Other utilities include a gym, football ground, basketball ground volleyball court and cricket practice net.

Alumni/Alumna

The college was started only in 2004, so we don't have a great alumni network per se. Those who have graduated are still pursuing post graduation courses or have just started working. But still we get a lot of help from our seniors, especially in academics.

Admission

By searching about engineering colleges in tamil Nadu. This college was good in teaching and for placements getting good companies. More over less fee comparing to other colleges in tamil Nadu. Many colleges were to be certified as university but this was special for to it was a bhramin college.

Faculty

4.5

We have one the best faculties compared 5to other medical colleges in the state. This owes to the high literacy rate in the district and availability of qualified doctors who have degrees from various national and international institutions.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It deals with patient care and clinical diagnosis along with hands on training the influenced my decision to take up this course. Through ward postings, history taking and case discussion it prepares me well for my PG exams and further future pursuits. Skill based learning should be emphasised more along with small group teaching. Sometimes the close spacing of exams can be very stressful. Difficulty level is appropriate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course is very challenging obviously as we're studying to become doctors. it could've been better by increasing the duration of the course. our first year/ semester instead of it being for 12 months was only of 9-10 months so our portions are being pushed a little. it happened due the scam etc around neet and our course start date was pushed. the course could be made easier by increasing the duration of the course. we have exams every week which does make it easier to keep up with the portions but makes it too stressful for us. maybe instead of keeping exams on monday they could change it to saturday so we can relax and be free on sundays.

Placement Experience:

The students in their internship will get around 35000 per month excluding their mess fees, they have the option to opt out of the mess. And once they finish their internship they had to do two years bond in places where the colleges allot them and the salary for those two years will be decided by the place the person goes and itll be definitely more than what they get during internship.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college strictly follows NMC rules and which is a very good thing as it helps us prepare for both theory and practical as theory give u the vast knowledge and practical allows us to imply what we learnt and also after the new rules of introducing histology we can also apply the idea of more creativity in a field a lot of creativity is yet to be unfolded they also cover important aspects through regular workshops and educate us with guest lectures from other colleges the important improvement which should be done is having the patience to teach a. Crowd of 250 which teachers should undergo special 2-3 classes to make sure they know what they teach is being reached out to everyone the timing of exam and everything is on time theh give us enough time to prepare and get ready
