There is always no other college better than ILS. College management was very supportive and student friendly. They used to conduct such programs which will be helpful to the students in future life.
Entrance Preview
I did not take any entrance examination for entering into this college. After passing B.Com, I had decided to pursue LL.B. course and first name came in my mind was ILS Law college. I decided to join this college because this is the most prominent college in India for law degree. It has the biggest and richest library in India. Many famous lawyers and judges including chief justice of India are passed out from this college. I had also heard about the best faculties of this college and campus placement service of this college. Hence, I had decided to pursue LL.B. from this college only.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum as decided by University of Pune was very good covering all the fields of law and considering in mind the complete lawyer after pass out. Faculty was simply awesome and very dedicated. They taught us the law not only through legal provisions but also in true spirits.
Internships Opportunities
Yes the college provides internships. The general stipend provided that time was around 5,000 to 10,000 per month.Internship arrangements was very good and helpful.
Placement Experience
Placement cell was superb. They had invited big law firms as well as large corporates.The facility provided to students was very nice and each student was guided how to face interviews and appear for group discussions.This helped me a lot in achieving good scores.
College Events
There were lot of events conducted in our college including Moot court competitions. Some of other events are:1. Legal Aid in villages.2. Annual day3. Sports day The events were conducted with full zeal from faculties as well as students. Lots of cultural events were conducted including dance, drams etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure was reasonable and feasible. There were office representatives who used to help us in understanding scholarships and other benefits and facilities in fees.I was not availed the hostel facility. Hence, I was not aware about the hostel fees. But the overall experience from my friends who availed hostel was happy with the food and other facilities including rooms, water etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
I had been offered scholarships as SBC student which was availed by me. I got the full amount of the scholarship as the prescribed government rules.
Campus Life
As I have mentioned in my title, campus life was awesome and with full of energy and enthusiasm. Gender ratio was reasonably fair. ILS is very well known for the extra curricular activities like moot court competitions. There were very good moot competitions were conducted including Raghavendra Phadnis, Novice, some international moot court competitions.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes. very much. There is network of alumni network of ILS students and there is annual gathering of alumni students every year. It is helpful in terms of remembering some nostalgic cheerful moments and also helpful in networking with senior lawyers.
