Remarks

The college has some of the positives like really big campus, very efficient training and placement cell, huge greenery in campus While the negatives are small library lack of placement in Core companies for some branches

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course structure is really good and different from other colleges in state. As being Self Financed the college has all rights to change the course as much and as frequent as they like, this helps in adding new topics to syllabus and hence removing unwanted or old once. Classes begin from 10 a. m. and ends at 5 p. m. there is at least one lab each day. And there are 3 MST ( Mid Sem Tests) happening Once a month and One Sem Exam at the end of semester leaving every month with atleast one Exam. Days become even more Hectic during the time of co-curricular activities such as events, fests, seminars and sport practices.

Placement Experience

4

Placements and jobs are increasing each year, Some courses have higher opportunity as compared to others and some have none. The one with higher placement records are CS (Computer Science) and IT(Information Technology), while ETC (Electronics and Telecommunication) and Mechanical Engineering have comparatively low. And EI (Electronics and Instrumentation) and Civil Engineering have no campus placements from Core Companies. But All branches can sit in Placements. The Companies arrived for placement were Adobe, Accenture, AmDocs, Atos, Cognizant, Honda, Impetus, Zenstar, Bosch, Infosys, L&T, TCS, John Deere, Tech Mahindra. The Intership offers are also ample but most of them are unpaid

College Events

4.5

As events are considered IET, Davv hosts Central India's biggest cultural fest - "Akshank". It is four day event in which groups from other colleges, as well as National and International celebrities performs. Apart from this there is a technical fest named- "INVENTO" in which many technical and non technical activities take place. After all this there are also some small events which take place in every month or so.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is quite feasible as it is much lower than Many Private Colleges. But As the college is Self Financed fees is higher than other government funded colleges. All the courses have same fee structure

Fees and Financial Aid

The college offers, actually the government offers two types of scholarships for students 1). Post Matric Scholarship if you are OBC you receive 60% scholarship and if you are SC/ST you receive 100% scholarship and 2). The other is performance-based if you have scored more than 85% in your boards and and achieved a rank of less than 1. 5 lacs in JEE mains you are eligible for 100% scholarship.

Campus Life

4

Gender ratio in classes is nearly 3:2 and same goes for all Labs and Workshops. The college encourages girls to participate in all activities and provide benifits for them. The college hosts yearly sport event in interbranch and have more than 10 types of games and sports this event is conducted in 2 parts indoor events in summer and outdoor events in winters. No factor other than talent and Politics governs the participation process

Hostel Facilities

3

I have not opted hostel but the hostel facilities is good they have rooms for three students each paying 80000 and rooms for four students each paying 75000 and rooms for six students paying 70000 and basic facilities are available.

Alumni/Alumna

The Alumni network of the college is quite powerful as there are many successful people from the college at high posts at government offices and private companies some own their huge business. And the seniors are very helpful and supportive they help out in nearly everything you can ask help in academics, career, coaching, sports, and life

Admission

The addmissions are done on basis of a national level examination held by CBSE called JEE Mains (Joint Entrance Examination). A committee named MPDTE conductes councelling for all colleges in state and creates a merit list according to the rank and no. of people interested in course. If you are selected you will receive an acknowledgement letter, by submitting the letter and addmission fees at college addmission department you get your admission.

Faculty

4

Being Self funded Government College the college has two types of faculty Permanent one and Contracted one. Some of the profeesors are very enthusiastic towards their profeesion but the good part is majority of the profeesors (80%) take classes regularly and teach well. The Permanent Profeesors are highly educated with atleast masters degree in the course from a reputed University.

Placement Experience:

At the end of 2nd year, companies like goldman sachs comes to take interns. For placements students become eligible from 6th or 7th semester. In recent years goldman sachs is the biggest recruiter, oracle and Deloitte have also recruited, other firms like tcs and infosys also come. Giants like Amazon and google have stopped visiting since few years. Last year highest package was 72 lpa to an ece student. Average lies around 8 lpa. In tech branch 70-80% students are placed. In lower branches 50-60% students are placed. My plan is also to get placed at a decent package after completion of course.
