Architecture at SBPCOAD

The exams are one per semester, there are four theory and four viva voce sessions, these viva sessions are conducted by external staffs from other universities. The classes are very informative and are rarely hectic.

There are very little/no placements as of now. But the student can take up internship programs if he/she is interested with stipend. The college doesn't provide them stipend. The college however grooms us well to face situations like placements.

The fee structure differs fro BC category and general categories, I belong to the general, hence my fee per semester for the four years are as follows: first year- 98636 second year- 100835 third year- 95335 fourth year- 91835

Our University has many extracurricular activities during which we enjoy to our fullest. It has a good sports facility, we participate in many inter college events and regional events, we also have gym where we could workout whenever we feel like.

No, I live nearby and hence I have not opted for the hostel facilities but I have many friends from the hostel. Twin room sharing facility is available, all essential facilities are available. The food is nutritious and hygienic.

The alumni network is decent, they help us in all the ways that they could, like letter of recommendation in their workplace when we are in a job hunt, suggesting internships, they are very approachable. They conduct annual meet ups to be in touch with each other.

Admissions into any architectural university nowadays are purely through NATA. This university doesn't choose to differ as well. The minimum marks to be scored in boards is 50% with PCM as the stream. The candidate has to apply online and pay the fee online too.

Our faculties are very highly-qualified, well-experienced. The minimum criteria to work here as a staff is to have a masters degree which all of them have. Some of them are even professionals who have worked in offices and have experiences of the field.
