Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is a lit bit outdated but the University has constantly made efforts to update the curriculum.There will be two semesters in a year.In each semester the students will have 5 subjects and 3 Labs. Coming to the stress and pressure it various from student to student.Initially one finds it hard to cope but once the individual gets accustomed with the curriculum he will definitely enjoy a lot.
Placement Experience
Year by year the placements are getting better and better.A lot of MNCs have come with nice CTC and various privileges.Apart from these companies there was also a humengous start up crowd which have bulky hired students for a good CTC along with a decent stipend.
College Events
Engineering life without fests is like life of a fish out of water. A lot of fests are organised throughout the year. There is a fest for every two months. Important days such as Engineers day are also celebrated. Along with these indian culture and heritage is preserved by traditionally celebrating all the rituals and customs at the festive time. Every year a road show is conducted to bring young innovative ideas into limelight.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible to the provisions and infrastructure provided by the college. The college also provides sufficient time and also emi options to pay the fee.College also provides students with scholarships.
Hostel Facilities
No i have not opted for hostel. Hostel fees must be payed at a single go. Food provided by Hostel authority is delicious. Hostel Authorities are very strict and students aren't allowed inside after 11. Wifi is also provided.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni plays a very strong and vital role.The Alumni students bring in a lot of companies and guide students how to get into the companies and also share there experiences.The alumni also shares overseas opportunities with the students.
Admission
There are three ways of getting a seat in mgit.The first way is through EAMCET exam you have to give the exam and based on the marks you receive you will be awarded with a rank and if your rank is within the college merit range you can get into the college. The second way is by writing JEE Mains and if u get a good rank you can get into the college.The third way is through management quota and NRI Sponsorship.
Faculty
Well Engineering is a very practical course and the role of a teacher is very minimal in engineering.Teachers are there only to guide the students.Since engineering is a practical course most of the concepts can be self learnt.
