Remarks

The Syamsundar College is accredited by UGC NAAC with a B+ grade. If I talk about my experience, my experience with the college was pretty good. This college is an example of rich tradition mingled with modernity. Every part of this college is someway better than the other colleges. WiFi connectivity and medical facilities inside the campus were extraordinary.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The Course structure was updated as per the requirements. Our college was one of the best colleges with pretty useful topics used in our syllabus. Every semester used to gave us mixed feelings of joy and pressure. I can say that our syllabus was a pure blend of contemporary and historical facts and topics.

Placement Experience

4.5

Our college was quite good if I talk about placements. Different companies like Dabour, Amul, Reliance, etc used to come with many opportunities for jobs and internships. The package I got in my placement was way beyond my expectations. From my batch approx 84% of the students got good placements from our college campus. Even we used to have a Career Counselling Cell in our college who also helped us with our career-related problems and doubts.

College Events

4

Campus life was quite rich and happening with different types of facilities provided including indoor and outdoor games, gymnasium, recreational areas, etc. After all those difficult subject's studies, campus life was just like the cherry on the cake which we enjoyed and cherished a lot.

Fee Structure And Facilities

My English Hons fee was somewhere around Rs 3120 for the first year which was quite budget-friendly and went easy on the pockets. This fee included examination fee, tuition fee, electricity fee, etc. There were no other hidden charges.

Campus Life

4.5

Different kinds of international and national seminars were conducted on a daily basis. Other than that different types of sports and activities like singing, dancing was also available. We often celebrated different festivals together on the college campus.

Alumni/Alumna

All my seniors were very supportive and helpful. They took us like their own brothers and sisters. They always guided us in all the fields including college, academics, even personal problems. They always stood with us.

Admission

The entire admission process was quite easy. I applied to the college via online mode. I uploaded my Cl 12th results with my application. There was no online test for admission. Students with 55% or above applied for admission. My name was there in the first merit list and after that, they called me for the documentation process.

Faculty

4.5

The most favorite element for me in this college was all the faculty members. Most of the members were excellent in their jobs and developed a cordial relationships with all the students. Even if I talk about the guest faculty they too were pretty much talented, qualified, and supportive.

I want to know bengali literature and all type of poems and proses that's why I choose B.a. in bengali literature. According to me, my course helps me in doing Masters in Bengali. From the point of view of improvements, I feel that digital classes can be conducted in the class by leaving the theory classes. Mere collage The exam level is basically hard and exams are conducted twice a year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have always wanted to persue English as a career. I love studying English but not a big fan of the new curriculum by NEP that includes a lot pf irrelevant papers. The semesters are not consistent. Odd semesters usually have a lot of time like 6-8 months but even semesters barely consist of 2-3 months.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We were held a class for upto 1hrs, thus we had 4 class a day. Sometimes it is boaring sometimes it becomes striking, it depends on the mood. It is to say little knowledge is a dangerous thing, if you don't read you cannot pass the semester examination. Although it will provide you a second chance. But with change of syllabus the exam pattern also change. You need to attain a total percentage of 75(%) to maintain you honours subject otherwise you would be regarded as programme course student.
