Entrance Preview
Refered by friend and heard that it was no. 1 college of Pharmacy in punjab. if we want to take admission we have to go through CET organized by punjab and get admission in college according to rank obtained in the CET exam. My father was in medical profession and at that time there was a good scope of pharmacy. lots of industry for job is in the Baddi so scope for job was there.
Course Curriculum Overview
It is of 4 year course having 8 semesters. 1st year there is a subject of Pharmaceuticals analysis, pharmacognosy, pharmaceuticals chemistry, pharmaceutics.
Internships Opportunities
If we want to take admission in M-pharmacy we have to clear a G-PAT test and 10000Rs stipend we get. For intrernship Ranbaxy, Ankur pharma, Cadila came.
Placement Experience
Placement was 80% many companies came like Ankur pharma, Win medicare, Macleods, Ind-Swift. I was placed in marketing company Win medi care with 1.30 lac per annum package.
College Events
International conferences were held in 3 year consecutive, In conference Mr. Vayas came( dean of sagar university). Culture activities like annual function was there in college. and sports events like cricket was there also.
Fee Structure And Facilities
My fee structure was expensive to me at that time 2006-2010. 31000Rs per semester fee was there. but now 45000 per semester fee is there in ISF college.
Fees and Financial Aid
We can take the educational loans from bank but college will not offers any loan facilities. College will provide schlorship if we get good rank in university exam.
Campus Life
Campus life was good and good infrastructure of college was also there. Extra curicular activities like sports events conferences and annual function was there.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities for boys and girls were there good food is provided at that time 3000 rs charges was there.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes i have still communication with my seniors and junior. 1 of my senior is working with me in my company. Maximum students get job after completion of pharmacy course from my college.
Exam Structure
Exam structure was semester wise final exam and per semester we were having a two sessional exams labs were good.
Faculty
Faculty was awesome maximum lecturer was doctorate and their teaching way was very good and easy to understand.Dr.Dhar was incharge at that time he is having a international publications.
