All about my college

The course provides knowledge in subjects like community pharmacy,hospital pharmacy, pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacology, pharmacognosy, biochemistry, law and ethics,human anatomy,social pharmacy.If a person wants to build his/her career in medical representation and dispensing, hospital pharmacy, pharmacology and and community pharmacy are best subjects to learn about.

The college provides Internship facilities for all the students after the completion of course for them to have a personal working experience at a place. Every year well reputed companies visit in the college campus to provide opportunities to the students to build their career in fields like medical representation, quality assurance , quality control.

I've paid a sum total of 60,000 fees yearly for D.pharm course. Transport charges were 4000rs per year.Other than these no extra charges were taken by college.Paper funds were about 1000rs per year. Students who belonged to different categories like SC/ST Had also paid same amount of fees although for the peers having no father there is a special scholarship programme.

College organises time to time fun based and enjoyment activities for the students like freshers party, youth fest programmes , games, conference ,meet ups ,and farewell parties .The college also takes keen interest in making their students much aware about how the things work in practical way by arranging various knowledgeable trips and visits to various places. Many clubs like photography club, eco club, nature club, food club etc runs in the college that impacts positively on the student's mindset and thinking about various perspectives.

I had been always looking to take admission in ISF college and hadn't thought about taking admission somewhere else as this is one of the best ever college in whole punjab for pharmacy. It's NIRF ranking is very good and it's an autonomous college. The admission process is very easy and smooth.A student must have passed with minimum 50% of marks in 12th (medical,non medical stream)to get admitted into one of the pharmacy courses here in the college.The overall admission experience is good enough.

The faculty to student ratio is about 1:50. Student teacher relationships are much good.all the faculty members are always ready to help and have good teaching skills. In Ist year a student has to learn about 6 different subjects and in 2nd year the total learning subjects are 5.Examination level is always set up as moderate to a little difficult.Although 80 to 90 percent of students passes the examination with much good score.And for rest of the students who couldn't perform much good are provided with the remedial teaching by the college staff.All the teaching staff is much knowledgeable and there's nothing to dislike about the staff .

College provides all the facilities like cafeterias, gym, hostel, mess, a playground to the students. The whole campus area is much safe for the students to roam around even at night. College working hours are from 9:30am to 05:00pm and the hostel remains open till 07:00 pm after which no entry and exit of any student is allowed.
