the curriculum is exhaustive. they made us train well in economics. many of my friends and fellow batchmates went for their ma at madras school of economics and phd at IIT KGP. The course is good and all encompassing

placements are good. lot of companies like TCS, THOUGHTWORKS, CTS, WIPRO, JCI Johnson Controls etc are coming. Ranchi provides good exposure and there are also premium colleges nearby like IIM RANCHI and BIT MESRA and BIT MESRA LALPUR EXTENSION which increase the visibility of the placement

We participated in a lot of nukkad nataks. And the college also gave us opportunities for performing various social cause events. We also visited nearby old age homes and interacted with the less privileged as a part of our learning.

the fee structure is good enough. not charged much for christian students or those who are belonging to SC ST reservation or christian minorities. The college is good for low cost studies and cost me about 20,000 per year in study expense.

the hostel i opted for was in lalpur. quite near the college. my expense came out to be about rs 8000 and it took care of all the food lodging and monthly out of pocket expenses. the pocket money was sufficient to take care of my necessities.

I appeared for both ba eco and ba english. I cleared both. Being from science background, i decided to go for ba economics and therefore i decided to go ahead and take admission in the college which is definitely the best in jharkhand for sure.

the faculty are good. tuitions are available in mathematics and econometric analysis. good faculty are good teachers and they are well qualified to teach their subject as well as they are able to. the faculty are helpful and in only very rare cases are they biased in any form.
