Course Curriculum Overview

Course Curriculum is contemporary with all the other management institutes. Some of the courses are outdated. Exam structure is pretty simple with 2 Class-tests, 1 Mid-sem Test and 1 Final Exams per sem.

Placement Experience

Placement is good considering the ROI factor. There are opportunities available. Its a totally student-driven college, so opportunities, jobs and internships depends upon how much effort the batch puts, and how strong their networking is.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is very much feasible. Total Payment at the time of admission is around 32k. After that approx 5k exam fee, and 6k semester fee per semester. No additional charges. Books will be provided by the college.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel Seats are limited. Hostels are allotted on the basis of Merit-list, there are various reservations too. Double Sharing room is provided with two cupboards, two chairs and tables and attached balcony. Hostels have large garden areas.

Admission

Step-1: CAT Exam Step-2: Fill form for UBS, PU. Only filling CAT form will not suffice. One have to fill the form of the college as well, which will make them eligible for further process Step-3: First round of Interview Step-4: Second round of Interview Step-5: Merit List on the basis of CAT Score + GDPI Step-5: Third Round of Interview ( Purely based on the vacant seat, if any)

Faculty

Faculties are knowledgeable and well experienced. Some of them have Industry experiences as well. As knowledge sharing is concerned, it is not free-flow, student has to walk an extra mile, put effort to match with the timings of faculties.

Thapar the unique approach to MBA

Placement Experience:

students are eliglible for placements when they pass previous backlogs and have 75% attendance. almost 50+ companies showed up mostly taking resume and not conducting any interviews. avg. package: 6L almost 70% students got placed mostly in sales.

Placement Experience:

The placement were so bad I mean the company came but they only took sales people rather than coming the finance profile or the operation profile so minimum package was 2 lakh doing mba getting low is quite not good

A Valuable Learning Curve with Real-World Exposure

Placement Experience:

Placement in the college are decent. Mostly students got placed for sales and marketing role. There are very few companies who came for Finance ,HR and Operations and other specializatins. So mostly at the end other specialix=zation students end up with getting a job role in slaes or marketing only.

Generally the placement drives starts during semester 3. Few name of the companies which visits campus Is Deloitte, American Express, Oxane Partners, Nestle & L'oreal etc. Highest package is 24.81 LPA & Average package is 8.17 LPA.

A genuine review by a genuine person whom you can relied upon.

A person needs to take the CAT entrance test and have graduated in any stream with a minimum of 50% for the general category and 45% for other categories. As there is no such cutoff for CAT. The admission process was simple firstly gdpi happened and then a personal interview. It takes admissions through CAT examination and GD+PI round.Applications starts from December and we have to provide documentation through mail, various types of reservations are their for eg ex-servicemen, rural area , single girl child etc which one can view on prospectus available online. The weightage of CAT percentile is more ,but students should also focus on Gd/pi because it really plays part in admission process,so after gd/pi students are assigned ranks and admission takes place accordingly.
