Life journey at Sahyadri College

My college provides best infrastructure, classrooms, laboratory etc. We've many start ups for all the 5 branches in the college along with MBA. Many take up internship in these start ups and upgrade their knowledge.

The course curriculum is pretty good. We've 3 internals per semester and assignments for all subjects for all the internals. External exam is for 100 marks and its reduced to 60 marks. The results are in CGPA.

The placement reports are very high among all the colleges in Mangalore. Almost 400+ companies come for placement drive in my college. The packages for companies varies. Highest package is around 25 lakh per annum. And least is around 3.5 lakh per annum.

Hackacthons, Kindle, Sahyadri talent hunt are the few technical fests. Cultural fest depends on the 5 branches (CSE, ISE, Civil, Mechanical, ECE) and MBA. Have college day in the month of November. And various other programs based on individual branches.

Feasible. The fee structure depends on the type of admission. I'm admitted through exams, so my fees is as perfect government standards. For management entry students, the fees range different as per the branches opted.

I don't know about this. I don't receive any scholarship because my dad is government employee. My other friends receive almost 20 thousand per year along with extra benefits like food and accommodation

extracurricular activities are good along with well maintained labs and sports. in civil and mechanical classes boys are more than girls. In other branches girls are more in number. There are various committee in the college for welfare of students.

I stay in PG. The rent is affordable and with good facility. My room is 2 sharing and 6 members are there in my PG. Breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner is provided. The owner takes care of the PG and our requirement.

It is very good and beneficial. Very often we interact with our seniors, they share their experiences among us about the projects, internship, and other projects that they handled when they were students.

Through CET. I was interested in civil, so I opted it.

The faculties teach us using PPT, IV, field trips etc. We've industry connect classes and aptitude training classes as well for improving our abilities. Seminars are done for better understanding with video
