Course Curriculum Overview

College is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University all the course curriculum and exam structure will be followed by VTU, well the exams in the classrooms are being taken strictly, there is no any problem for course curriculum. But I think there should be some update of new technology in to the curriculum.

Placement Experience

We get more of IT companies into our college for placements. For mechanical students the race is a bit tough as the number of recruiting companies coming for core mechanical is less. Most of the mechanical students end up taking IT jobs eventually.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The college fee structure is bit on the higher side ie a bit expensive, I feel. The fees are Rs 100,000 per annum which makes it to Rs 400,000 on s total for a period of four years which is not very economical or affordable.

Campus Life

Our college has well equipped labs and the library is very well equipped and yeah offcourse there were extracurricular activities such as lead program, nss and etc. And as we fall under vtu we can avail vtu blue by playing sports and winning them.

Hostel Facilities

Fully equipped separate Hostels for Boys and Girls are available. Following facilities are available in the Hostels which are semi furnished rooms with adequate light and ventilation, 24 X 7 hot water supply, well maintained and hygienic kitchen etc.

Admission

I got admission into this college through my JEE score. The college takes in students on the basis of their performance in the JEE MAIN entrance exam. I scored 68 in JEE and could manage to get admitted into this college.

Faculty

Faculty is good and their responsibility towards students is far more better. They solve students problems and give better suggestion. They guide students very well. They are very cooperative with us and are very understanding.

Good College with Supportive Faculty and Decent Placements

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Placement Experience:

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

About my college

Placement Experience:

After completion of the course students are divided to teachers and the food industries are come to college and interview us and the student is eligible they can select. Some standard food related companies are visited nestle, ITC mysore , sulawines and some other companies also. The CGPA of the students is 7.5 or more is good below this also get selected but more than 7.5 is good. My plan is after completion of course then do work and get some experience in the industries and some of the time I am going to select a product and launch it over the world.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.
