Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is good. There will be 2 semesters exams conducted in an year. There will 2 mid exams in an semesters. my course is of 4 years. In last semester there will industrial training which would be of 6 months duration

Placement Experience

The college provides placements also. Amazon also comes for the placements program every year. Most of the companies in Hyderabad come for the placements program.they gives placement training's too and encourage us to take different opportunities provided by them

College Events

There will be 2 cultural fest every year. one is scintillate and another one is convergence. Convergence is a technical fest. this fest duration is 2 days. Many events and workshops will be held in our college every year

Hostel Facilities

I have opted for the college hostel. The hostel fee is 60000 per year per student. The hostel facilities are only for Btech and Mtech students only. they take care of us and provide each and every facility

Admission

It is one of the top 10 Colleges in Hyderabad. The placements in the college are more. i wrote the entrance exam to get into the college. and then went through councelling and opted this college as it is best and then I submitted my certificates in the college and that's how I got into this college

Faculty

The faculty is well trained in there teaching subjects They only select experienced persons. They are friendly. They will clarify each and every doubt they don't care how many times u ask them and they never think about the doubt that it is big or small they just clarify. They are too good

My college review for JPNCE

Course Curriculum Overview:

I felt that entire curriculum needs to be changed, since there are many useless subjects that are irrevalant to software engineering in CSE. I also felt subjects like c,c++, java needs to be replaced with python and web development subject should be replaced with something like nextjs. Initially I thought the syllabus and curriculum was good untill 3rd year of my Btech degree. The curriculum of jntuh is outdated in terms of real world. Teaching methods are ok though it needs minor improvements in some areas. The frequency of exams is same, you get semester exams and supply exams , you will have more chances to clear you backlogs, my advice is to clear backlogs in same year or try not getting any backlogs in engineering. timing of exams is usually after every 6 months out of which we usually have 180 or more working classes days. And in between we get sundays, holidays,events and other things. Semester exams are difficult especially subjects like mathematics or electronic subjects like ADE, which is irrelavant to CS.

Absolutely unsatisfied because of faculty and lack of placements.

Placement Experience:

Right Iam in 7 th semester ending,no company came to our college to recruit us.May be in 8 th sem companies will come.My seniors got in some companies like TCS, Infosys,Capgemini etc..with an average of 3.6 lpa.And all students did not get placed just 10 students in each class got placement.We need more placements to satisfy the students.

The world inside GRIET

Placement Experience:

After the third year or 6th Semester you can take part in placements. There has been a lack of companies visiting this year. So far Infosys, accenture, cognizant, LSEG, Verisk have come for placements. The details are unknown to all the people but the highest package yet has been around 16-20 LPA. The Percentage of students getting placed is less compared to previous years around 20-30%

Detailed review of VNR VJIET

I did chose this college because it is highest rated EAMCET college in Telangana. Vnr when compared to others is far better in curriculum and placements.the addmission process starts atound Feb of every year. There is also management quota . The only other college applied is cbit . I did not get the seat for my rank . The admission process is of three ways. One sis EAMCET exam and the other is jee mains percentile ( b cat) and the last one is nri quota also called as management quota.
