Remarks

Our College is not less than standards of NITs/IITs in terms of infrastructure and teaching. More practical knowledge and Vnr Differentiators make it special mention. The basic amenities are well provided.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum according to AICTE norms. First year all depts have same syllabus. From 2-4 yrs, core subs are studied.2 internals and their average for 40 and one External exam for 60 marks. Same exam structure for lab and theory.

Placement Experience

Placement opportunities are abundant. Internship offers also are provided by different companies to students. Internships start from 3.1 Placement Opportunities are good for all Branches. Different campus drives, online tests and off campus drives happen.

College Events

Technical tests like Convergence, Cultural fest Scintillations, Many other events by 11 cultural clubs and 9 Technical student chapters at different national events and cultural festivals. They are celebrated on a large scale by all students of all dept with faculty support.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Category A through Eamcet/Ecet entrance exam constitute max of the admissions with a fee of INR 985000 while Category B with Jee mains entrance have 1.5 lakh per annum. NRI quota using Ipe exam marks pay 3 lPA

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships by Govt are implemented here too. 10000 INR is refunded for those who meet their income and academic regulations for 4 years. Some other academic waives are also existing. Im unknown of the loan facilities.

Campus Life

Sports complex is one of the best highlights of the campus with almost all facilities. Labs are sophisticated and well maintained. There are many labs for various purposes. They are 5 auditoriums and an amphitheatre.

Hostel Facilities

I don't use hostel facility. Iam a day scholar. Yet clg hostels are neat, clean, strictly disciplined and vibrant. All necessities are well fulfilled. They also celebrate major festivals and events together like a family.

Alumni/Alumna

We have annual alumni meet called Yugma where alumni of all Branches meet. They interact with juniors too. We have a good rapport with the seniors. Seniors give us insights into our technical growth and also help us with projects.

My college review for JPNCE

Course Curriculum Overview:

I felt that entire curriculum needs to be changed, since there are many useless subjects that are irrevalant to software engineering in CSE. I also felt subjects like c,c++, java needs to be replaced with python and web development subject should be replaced with something like nextjs. Initially I thought the syllabus and curriculum was good untill 3rd year of my Btech degree. The curriculum of jntuh is outdated in terms of real world. Teaching methods are ok though it needs minor improvements in some areas. The frequency of exams is same, you get semester exams and supply exams , you will have more chances to clear you backlogs, my advice is to clear backlogs in same year or try not getting any backlogs in engineering. timing of exams is usually after every 6 months out of which we usually have 180 or more working classes days. And in between we get sundays, holidays,events and other things. Semester exams are difficult especially subjects like mathematics or electronic subjects like ADE, which is irrelavant to CS.

Absolutely unsatisfied because of faculty and lack of placements.

Placement Experience:

Right Iam in 7 th semester ending,no company came to our college to recruit us.May be in 8 th sem companies will come.My seniors got in some companies like TCS, Infosys,Capgemini etc..with an average of 3.6 lpa.And all students did not get placed just 10 students in each class got placement.We need more placements to satisfy the students.

The world inside GRIET

Placement Experience:

After the third year or 6th Semester you can take part in placements. There has been a lack of companies visiting this year. So far Infosys, accenture, cognizant, LSEG, Verisk have come for placements. The details are unknown to all the people but the highest package yet has been around 16-20 LPA. The Percentage of students getting placed is less compared to previous years around 20-30%

Detailed review of VNR VJIET

I did chose this college because it is highest rated EAMCET college in Telangana. Vnr when compared to others is far better in curriculum and placements.the addmission process starts atound Feb of every year. There is also management quota . The only other college applied is cbit . I did not get the seat for my rank . The admission process is of three ways. One sis EAMCET exam and the other is jee mains percentile ( b cat) and the last one is nri quota also called as management quota.
