I took SNAP Common Test. I dont remember my score. I opt for this college because they were offering a course in Public relations.

Course Curriculum Overview

SIMC offered MBA in Communication Management and MMC (Journalism and AV) during my tenure. MBA in Communication Management was further divided into 3 parts Advertising,Public Relations and Media Management. I went for Public Relations which was further divided into Marketing, Statistics,Accounting,Consumer Behaveior and other modules relevant to public relations. We were equally getting the industry exposure through internship and project models.

Internships Opportunities

All the leading PR companies came for the placement. MAximm stipend offered for PR was 10k. Apart from PR we got all the renowed MM and Advertising companies as well on the campus.

Placement Experience

Almost 98% of the students were plaven on campus. Maximun amount offered was 12 lakhs p.a during my tenure. That is rough estimate which I can recall as of now.

College Events

It was a media college. So we had lot of fun and events in the campus. I would say it was all events. Our classes were also like and event going on except few of them.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Actually it depends. It was approx 9 lakhs that time for 2 years. Now it will be feasible for few and expensive for few. But the fee includes hostel and mess.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have no idea about this. I did not take any loan. Self sponserd education. So will not be able to comment on this one.

Campus Life

FUN is the word which comes in my mind. We had lot of Hostel Parties,workshops,cultural societies. You get a lot of diversity there. Lot of people from different culture and background.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel was awesome. Especially if you stay in 416. Apart from that food was also good. There were times when it was not good. But then everything has pros and cons. Nothing can be perfect.

External Expense: Rs. 4000 - Rs. 7000

Alumni/Alumna

I worked for a company started by one of alumni. Most of the student who pass out from SIMC are innovators or entrepreneurs now. They are at very good positions in the media industry.

The faculty was super awesome and cool. I had the best two years of my life studying there.

Placement of this college going well and steady beacuse of regular mock PI and GD starting from the semester -1 as after that they have to go winter internship and after semester-2 they go summer internship with this experience it help them to achieve their final placement and if they do not achieve they go for regular mocks and getting feedbacks.

Placement Experience:

College do have saperate placement department to look after placements of students. Students become eligible after completion of 1st year. In previous year average package offered was around 8 LPA. And average package was around 4 LPA. Almost 50 percent students got placed in 2023.
