Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is standard curriculum as per the Mangalore University, it involves the basics of computer science and involves the technical aspect of computers apart from the software part. There are six-semester exams in total.

Placement Experience

Some of the renown MNC companies come here for recruitment of students from multiple disciplines, BCA students to get placed in them. The salary is a very decent package. Most of us get placed as the training is very great by the placement cell of the college.

College Events

Freshers day, College Annual day, ethnic day and other national holidays are the events celebrated in this college, these days are full of nothing but sheer fun and we get to see and perform in dance, music and other things we are good at.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee, as far as I know, is feasible when compared with other colleges in Mangalore. The fee is Rs. 1.05 Lakhs for the whole course, it is Rs. 35,000 per year. Students who could not afford can avail student loans too.

Campus Life

Our college gives importance to sport equally as it gives to academics. We have an inter-college basketball event organized by the college, many colleges take part in this. We have Indoor and outdoor sports facilities, The gender ratio is almost equal and there is no discrimination against anyone in this college.

Admission

I got the college and this BCA course through counselling by Mangalore University. The shortlisting is purely based on the marks (boards). I went and applied in person for the course, no online procedure is there.

Faculty

All our faculties are very well-qualified professionals. They teach so well, they are unbiased and give each of us equal attention, some of them are very friendly and approachable, we can ask them for academic help at any point of the time.

An honest review.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Speaking about course curriculum that had a different story like I wanted to become a doctor and I belong to a biology background in my puc but I had some health issues that's the reason I couldn't attend my NEET exam also I couldn't waste one complete year so that's the reason I chose BCA. But once I joined I realised tat it was that difficult and it actually became my interest. Curriculum provides a set of courses where students can first understand about each course and then look into the courses and select any of those depending on their interest. So I feel that's required and that's very important for every student. I would suggest to give a demo to students which means to tell them wat all a particular course has, what all students can take, and to tell them which career opportunities which course provides. We had 60 marks paper with 2.3 hours of time it wasn't that difficult only if uh are prepared. Again it all depends on the preparation and hard work of the students. The question paper is made considered the average students as well. So it wasn't that difficult until you get familiar with the subjects.
