No entrance exam required, You need a SSC passed with a good score along with Intermediate Drawing Grade Examination and Foundation Art Exam.
Course Curriculum Overview
There are two streams, applied art and fine art. The main subjects in appplied art are Typography, Illustration, Advertising, Public Welfare, Publishing and Photography. In which elective subjects are Photography, Typography and Illustration. This course is equivalent to BFA.
Internships Opportunities
Big Advertising agencies like Lowe Lintas, Leo Burnett, BBDO, Eggfirst, etc. had come in to offer. At some places the stipend was 5000 and in some non stipend.
Placement Experience
Most of them are offered jobs after the yearly exhibition held at college. Package varies according to the students portfolio and experience in the field.
College Events
College events includes demonstrations from famous artist from the respective their field. Also events like RUBIX, Kalayatri and college days (sports, rangoli , etc) are included.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is very feasible as it is a government diploma course. Fees are divided in two parts yearly.First instalment of approx 2500 to be paid at the starting of the year.Second instalment of approx. 2000 to be paid in the second term.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship is granted from the government to OBC and other cast. No loans available.
Campus Life
Best campus life of art students. Competitions like landscape, rangoli, sports, etc are held in the college. Extracurricular activities are somehow connected to their field like calligraphy, rangoli, etc.
Alumni/Alumna
Thers no alumni as such but there is always interaction with seniors as they are from the same field.
Exam Structure
There are two exams yearly. One terminal and other final exam. Exams are not hectic at all. There is one theory paper and rest practicals.
Faculty
The Faculty are Professional Commercial Artists with high experience in teaching as well as advertising agency. The faculty holds a minimum degree of MFA (masters in fine arts).
