I am passionate about automotive Technologies. RIT is a name that always goes hand in hand with Industry expectations. Well equipped laboratories and dedicated faculties are the pillars for the successful career of any aspirant. All this is associated with Strong and dedicated training and placement cell which helps students in identifying job requirements from Industries for better placements of students. Recently RIT is also offering Choice based credit system. I recommend new aspirants to choose RIT for a better career ahead.
Course Curriculum Overview
Faculties of the Automobile Department are well qualified. 50% of faculties are Ph. Ds from reputed organizations. Fundamentals and advance practices used by automobile Industries are continuously taught. The faculty-student ratio is 15:1.
Internships Opportunities
Two types of internships are available. One is 1 month internship which students has to undergo in SY or TY. And other one is 6 months which is in the final year final semester. Most of the interns getting placement in the same industries where they are working as interns. Companies like Kirloskar Brothers Ltd, Cummins, Cooper, Tata Motors, Prototech, KPIT is visiting for internship as well as recruitments every year.
Placement Experience
Institute Placement cell is very much active and always behind adding more and more companies for recruitment. Institute promotes Entrepreneurship as well as Startups. Most of the alumni network is helpful in connecting newer companies for placement. Students are allowed to go for a 6-month Internship in the final year final semester.
Campus Life
The annual festival is Virangula which every year is conducted in Feb or March. Library of RIT is well equipped with state of the art collection of Books and Journals. Classrooms are all digital classrooms equipped with LCD Projectors. The alumni association is run by RIT students.
