Entrance Preview

I have completed BSC IT from Vikas college of Arts Science and Commerce in year 2013-14. I opted for this as i completed my Juinor college in IT section.

Course Curriculum Overview

It was a 3 year course,2 Semister in a year total 6 in 3 yearsIt consisted of subjects like Data base Management system DMBS,Maths 1,Maths 2,lAW etc in the entire academic year.

Internships Opportunities

During our college campus interviews Companies like WNS,Wipro,TCS,Intel came and hired the best students among all. They provided Salary starting from 1.5 to 2 lac CTC annually.

Placement Experience

Out of 180 students minimum of top 40 students were placed in companies like TCS,TATA,Wipro,WNS,Willis,Accenture etc. Opportunity were more but few students opted to continue with their education.

College Events

Our college was best in managing the Cultural festials,Academic sports,Prize distribution and to Organize various Seminars. To keep Event related to educaiton.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The Fees of our course was 48000 which can be paid in installment minimum of 20% was to be paid at the time of admission and then later on it can be paid in easy monthly installment.

Fees and Financial Aid

The one who socred highest got scholarship facilites they gave discounts for the students who were in Caste.

Campus Life

Our college didnt provided hostel parties but we had Annual Parties,college IV. The Best part of our college was sports we used to organize multiple sports of District level.

Hostel Facilities

Our college didnt provided the Hostel facilites. But we had Canteen there were total 2 canteen in and around the premises there were all sort of food availabe depending upon the time ie break fast and lunch and snacks.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Experience with our seniors was awesome they helped us a lot inform of guidance we did a lot of team work in terms of organizing events,sports events.

Exam Structure

The exam structure was quiet good and time provided by college was just amazing with ample of time study and well managed time given for praticals and viva it was easy.

Faculty

The Faculty were quite good and haveing the best expererince in teaching field. Most of them were PH.D. Mostly all of them were supportive in terms of Education and Sports.

Well worth the journey!

Course Curriculum Overview:

Parricularly the modules which focused on animal science & botany, the curriculum was built to learn from basics to the advance level towards research area of biology which impressed me alot. The focus on animal biology, statistics, cell biology & genetics, ecology & wildlife conservation, Immunology & biotechnology leads a foundation to successfully enter the real-world and apply this knowledge for better cause of humans as well as animals. As the therotical teaching method can differ from on-hand experience on field there is a need to improve the course curriculum around this issue. The learning period was designed perfectly in-course of the prepaption time between each test and it wasn't difficult if we are well prepared.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's average or below average in term of real world experience curriculum there no such thing. Teaching is not bad there are big screen in class to teach from and blackboard. But most students don't know anything about the real world projects and techniques. Syllabus is controlled by mumbai University is too told and does not have any use in real world industries which need to be changed and most important since IT sector is something which advances and changes each year

Looks Good on Paper, Fails in Practice

Course Curriculum Overview:

I\n Chose this course in specific this college.Because first of all , it was afforrable as compared to others institutes.I can say that we weren't getting any experience which can prepare us for the real world experience like we were made to sit in workshops which was not at all connected to our curriculum.And then later on, when we said we don't want to attend it.We were given lame excuses like this will help you. And we will give you certificates for this.And later on , we were given nothing. Course needs a lot of improvement.I guess because they doesn't favor student feedbacks. The exam are typically in june and depends upon ycmou college dosent have any role to it and its not that difficult with basic knowledge you can score well.

Placement Experience:

In univeral college from sem 6 students become eligible for campus placements, Name of the companies offered in placement is TATA TCS, Infotech , and etc. Highest package from our college is 10 LPA and average is 3.2 lacs per annum. 20% percent of students successfully get placed in the companies from our placement team. After getting degree i will prefer to study more with MCA two years of course and side by side business & developing webs and applications as this is my passion and motive. i will prefer business Now i am interested in python programming language and JAVA after this React JS, Node JS and PL / SQL + MONGO DB for backend programming which has no user interactions.
