A whole new world

The college management is strict and see to it all adhere to the rules. They make sure along with a rigid discipline, students also enjoy the life in campus

I did not take any entrance exam. I got admitted via merit quota based on the cut off marks of accounts, economics, commerce and maths.

The first year was a general course on commerce, The second year we specialized in one of the areas of finance, marketing, Human resource and office management

I had a small stint of intern ship with an audit firm for a month. There was no stipend offered, and it was part of the practical experience of the subject.

Many multinationals and banking firms come for campus placements like Goldmansachs, PWC, DE Shaw etc and good training before the placements is provided for students and a majority of them are placed.

Main cultural events called Melange is celebrated calling students from all other colleges. It is a 3 day event.Commerce culturals Combat is celebrated inviting all commerce students from other colleges.A intra-college cultural event between the different years is also conducted.A youth convention program with speakers of all subjects is also hosted by the college students.

The fee structure is feasible along with scholarships for the more eligible candidates and for those from economically backward sections. Each sem a payment has to be made.

There are a couple of scholarships available, but I don't know about them very much in detail. Mainly for those from economically backward sections scholarships are offered.

Extra curricular activities are good. There are many clubs that students can participate and in the first year they will take up an optional elective like Yoga, Basketball, Volleyball, Aerobics etc. Also opportunities to participate in various other cultural events of different colleges are given to students

They have one hostel with a good warden and food is normal and usually not that great according to the hostel students. The hostel facilities otherwise are very good.

Senior students when in college are very approachable and see to it all the juniors get set to college life easily. Alumni meetings happen every year, but does not get wide participation from earlier years alumni.

It was a chilled out structure with end semesters and 2 internals every semester. Total of 6 semesters for 3 years.

They were well knowledgeable and able to deliver the subjects with ease to students. Especially in specialization subjects, more of practical knowledge was applied than blindly following the book.
