Anonymous's Review On St. Xavier's College, Bardez

All in all, everything is quite good not absolutely perfect but good.

None all I had to do was get through the general board examinations and apply as for why I chose the course, it had better subject choices, those that I prefer - Psychology.

So far so good, English, history, and psychology the English curriculum I find to be a little dull history is okay, but psychology could do better in the practical aspect, the inclusion of more recent test questionnaires, and better grammar.

This doesn't pertain to my course so I don't know much about it. Students of mass communication and journalism courses do intern I'll refer one of them.

We have a fun week called plus points prior to the Christmas break, a send-off for our TY students called Socials, various debates, competitions, etcetera.

Our college is aided by the government and hence the fee structure is feasible thanks to the concession by the government. We've had to pay just Rs. 7000 per year being students of psychology.

There are a number of scholarships available. The list of which has been put up today. I haven't availed of any though.

We've had students from other countries warmly welcomed and accepted in the college so the question of discrimination doesn't arise. We have a number of extracurricular events which have been good.

I don't live in a hostel so I'm unaware of the situation there but the mess food is hygienic and satisfactory.

My interactions with them have been enriching. They've been supportive and resourceful as and when possible. Seniors have helped us fit into the system.

We have 2 Intra semester exams carrying 10 marks each, a psychology practical exam of 25 marks, and a semester-end exam carrying 80 marks per semester.

The faculty is excellent teaching-wise, but some of them need a change in mindset nevertheless those teachers that teach our course have been greatly supportive. They guide us well.
