- I took English Honors for my Final year, i had a wonderful faculty which helped us at every point and a major thing that is project which was also amazingly handled by them.
- We also had access to free available internet in the campus.
- the canteen provided good quality food with affordable prices.
Dislikes
- Some (very few) staff members being rude and ignorant towards thew students
- some broken benches in the ANX building.

Course Curriculum Overview
I joined Dhempe College after completing 2 years of B.A. at PES College Farmagudi, Ponda - Goa. I was interested in Novels, especially Postcolonial literature, American literature, and modern European literature to be precise. Looking at these tastes it was clear for me that Choosing English Honors at Dhempe College would be a wise decision for me. After learning all these novels, I came across various ideas and opinions of different writers and poets, that also reflected in my writing and speaking styles. I really cannot speak much about improvements in the course but i can say that there should be more of Positivity in the texts and not just murders, rapes, and pain.
Internships Opportunities
we noticed at times, IIT Mandi offered walk-in interviews for students. Recently an online session was held-"Getting jobs and interviews in the domain of AI development" Another Goa-based startup called Quematech had also sent their offers for the post of Customer Support Executives.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is available on the college website. For FYBA General, it is 8,660 inr. Breaking it down, it contains tuition fee of 2000rs, Library fee of 500rs, Registration fee of 695rs, IAIMS fee of 225rs, Gymkhana fee of 500rs, cultural fee of 500rs, Student Aid Fund - 130rs, Library deposit - 70rs, Academ,ic restructuring - 1,500rs, Skill enhancement course and Tech Charges - 1320rs, PTA, ID CARD and Magazine - 1150rs. The college used to send placement offers from IIT Mandi and Various other institutes through Email.
Campus Life
The campus is quite small but still contains a lot of places for different activities. A big college fest is being organized by Dhempes every year. It is called the "Creations" and it is known to be Goa's biggest and greatest College fest. 2024 Creations was organized at a whooping expenditure of around 29 Lakh INR. The library is equipped with PCs and the Internet where students can access online material along with all kinds of available books. The classrooms are equipped with Whiteboards and Projectors which are used by the teachers very often. The annual sports are also organized by the institute where students participate in a great number.
Admission
The admission form can be later obtained from the main office after you register and apply for the course through the DHE portal. As i mentioned earlier i joined for ther final year hence, all the process was done offline through the College office. The admission committee is very fast and punctual in their work.
Faculty
The faculty, however, was wonderful for all the semesters. All the teachers were on time for their lectures and as far as I remember, we hardly used to waste any of our lectures. They shared the entire syllabus with us and taught each unit carefully and wonderfully. Groups were made for the mentoring program. each group was assigned a teacher. all the teachers handled their groups properly. We as students were always entertained by the teachers at any time. Even over the WhatsApp, teachers never denied helping us.
