Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is very well defined and is in line with the demand of a hospitality course at the bachelors level. The exam structure is designed in a semester-wise manner that is there are 2 semester exams which make out single year of study. The first of the semester is called the odd semester exam and the second is called the even semester exam. In between the semester examination we are tested through evaluation of our cooking skills, culinary skills, and hospitality management skills that is mostly the practical aspect of the course. Theoretical evaluations are also conducted in face of written test.

Placement Experience

3

Placement rate of a college is nice. Around 60% to 70% of the batch gets placement each year through on campus placement drives. Apart from the on campus drives many of our seniors got good offers through the off campus drives. Internship in face of hands on skill training is provided by the college in its associated hotel or hospitality management service provider. One can also look for internship opportunities on their own.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee for the three year program stands at around 4.5 to 5 lakh rupees. During the time of admission I submitted around 1.5 lakh rupees which included the tuition fee and other expenses. The fee is in line with any private hospitality management institute. However since it can be a hefty amount one can look for financial assistance like scholarship and loans.

Fees and Financial Aid

The Delhi government offers scholarship to the students who are from the educationally backward classes of society or are from the reserved categories. Central government offers scholarship through the national scholarship portal to the students on fulfilling the basic eligibility criterias. The educational loan facility is also offered by the private sector and the public sector banks.

Campus Life

4

The college organisers events from time to time. Events like cooking workshop, chef challenge, bartending skills workshop etc are organised from time to time. Apart from that events like annual fest and sports meet are also organised. Infrastructure wise the college is sound and it has all the essentials that are required to be there in a hospitality management College.

Admission

I give the the NCHMJEE exam which is conducted at National level for admission in hospitality and tourism based courses. I got the admission in the college through the counselling. Since this was a good college for hotel management in Delhi NCR with campuses in Delhi and Noida I opted for this one. Post grant of seat through counselling I was asked to complete the admission formalities.

Faculty

4

Faculty of the college is very experienced and most of the teachers have a good experience of the hospitality catering and tourism domain. Our professors know what is required to be successful to make a career in the domain and their teaching methods lays focus on those area. They are quite helpful and cooperative as well. Their idea is always to make things easier to grasp for the students.

Remarks:

The college is too small . The committee's should try to build a big and spacious campus for the students .Rest everything is good . As it is one of the best college in India. According to me it should provide free afternoon meal to all the students in a day as the students spend a lot by having food outside and wasting the money.
