Course Curriculum Overview

The course is very good and focuses on much research. There is a semester system. The days at the university is generally very hectic but leaves you with self sufficiency. The exams are conducted in an efficient and very good pattern.

Placement Experience

Guru angad dev veterinary and animal sciences university provides with great opportunities to its students. There are internship for its students to grow. They also provide with jobs and placements. Many firms come and recruit the students. Many students take part in the placement programme.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of the university is quiet feasible and not very low or high. The fees for B.tech biotechnology is around 3 lakh 90 thousand which is quiet affordable as per the demands of the course.

Campus Life

Guru angad dev veterinary and animal sciences University of health sciences is as good in its extracurricular activities as in its education. The university conducts many programmes for the students. There are sports activities, debates, cultural programs, fates and so on in which many institutions take part.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are very helpful and supportive towards their juniors. The campus is ragging free and there is also an anti ragging cell in the college to help students in case they face any problems. The seniors are also quiet friendly.

Admission

To get admission the candidate should have a minimum qualification of 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology and English from a recognized Indian Board/ University with at least 50% marks in aggregate and must be a citizen of Punjab. You will be selected either on the basis of merit or entrance exam. You will have to provide with required certifications.

Faculty

The faculty of the institution is very good. They are well qualified and trained with a great experience. They have good command over their respective subjects. They also encourage students in every possible way and help them when they need.

Great Exposure and a Balanced System

Remarks:

The life in GADVASU

Admission to my course happens on the basis of NEET marks. But my university offers many more courses such as in dairy science,fisheries and biotechnology. Fir general category marks should be around 540 in neet. Reserved categories get benefits, there is quota for SC,ST,OBC,BC, border area, rural area etc. anyone can read about all this on gadvasu's official site. We have 3 internal exams during a year and 1 external exam at the end of the year. Then if we have 3 subjects in first year then practicals for these subject will be held after externals in 2 portions. Students can easily reach admission office. It generally happens near dean's office. Every staff is very supportive and will help in any case. There is canteen just outside the college so parents and students can also sit there and have some snacks. There are many canteens in my campus which also provide proper meals....Read More
