Remarks

Its good for a student persuing CA or if he/she is working. If you want a regular b.com then go join some Day college.

I have graduated in b.com from SBMJC, bangalore. It has no such selection criteria, but you must atleast hold 50+ percentage in your Hslc/12th state board.

Course Curriculum Overview

Its really been 3 good years of my life as i was able to concentrate on both C.A and b.com with this b.com curriculum. Timings (5.30 pm - 8.30 pm). Which i believe is a very good timings for students doing article-ship under the course C.A.

They are very good at dealing with students. They will guide you with whatever way is best possible.

Well there is no placements for evening college students. But if you are pursuing any other additional course along with b.com then its the best college in Bangalore that i would suggest. It charges you with around 35000(appx) per year.

There are many events organised in this college. SBMJEC has many other branches which are often linked to this in fests and other programs.there are activities going on every alternative day which you can participate.

Its very reasonable. 35000 per year. appxIts the best college i would suggest if you want to persue bcom in bangalore along with some other course.

Scholarships are offered to students who have completed HSLC from Jain College or has 90+ percentage in HSLC

Campus Life

Campus life is not so good. As most of the students studying here are either persuing CA or working. It doesnt have a canteen.It doesnt hold any sports day. But there are a lot of fests and cultural activities.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is a bit expensive one. It charges around 1.2 lakhs per annum. So if you are not from Bangalore i will suggets you to stay in some P.G.

Exam Structure

NO labs, no practicals.The only thing they provide you is with assignments.There are 6 semesters which comprises of a class test(all subjects) per semester, a pre-semester test and of course the final semester exam.

They teach good, But if you are not interested in learning, you are free to leave the classroom anytime. They are not so strict. And the most important thing is that you need not worry about your attendence.

Placement Experience:

The college provides placements from various top notch companies like Deloitte, EY, Tanishq, Titan , Wipro and more. The Average package is 5 lakhs and most students get placed. Whoever doesn't, they choose to study further .

Placement Experience:

The placement cell in my college is okay they do get few good companies for campus recruitment and they guide us thoroughly how and when we should apply for placement they do conduct some sessions and bring people to guide us with everything. The percentage of students getting placement is 50 or 60 percentage. My plan after degree is to continue pursuing acca and then finding a job abroad

Placement Experience:

The college offers placement through the COC (Career Opportunities) cell. Students become eligible for placements by the 5th Semester. The companies which come to hire include the Big 4s, (KPMG, Delloite, EY and BCG), Fedral Bank,TCS, etc. Almost 70% of students opt for higher eduaction so the less number of students get placed at the UG level at least. I am personally figuring out which path to choose but I have placement in mind at the end of the degree.
