Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum is very vast and builds in students the knowledge of subject through various activities, group discussions, debates, problem-based learning skills development, demonstrations, seminars, hands-on session, symposiums, etc. This make the studying a lot interesting for students.

Placement Experience

4.5

The college provides its students with a lot of medical practice and experience which makes them efficient. Also, the ESIC Hospital gives practical training to the students making them have the experience of working in an actual hospital. Thus, such trained and qualified students easily get jobs and placements with a high stipend also because it is a government college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For completing the 5 year MBBS course the fees per annum is Rs.13,610 according to the All India Quota. The fees to be paid at the time of admission is Rs.13,010. This would equate to Rs.68,050 for total 5 years excluding the admission fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are various considerations regarding giving scholarship to the students like belonging to an economically weaker section or having high merit in exam scores. The decision on how much of an amount concession should be given solely depends on the decision if the college administration.

Campus Life

4.5

The college had voluntary blood donation camps, best doctors awards for each year, etc. The college has a great campus which is highly modernised with a developed infrastructure. I have been studying here with all the facilities needed by a medical students including the ESIC Hospital.

Admission

I visited the official portal of Directorate of Medical Education (DME) Tamil Nadu and registered for the Tamil Nadu NEET. I was selected according to the NEET Tamil Nadu Counselling Procedure which included examining my Scorecard and allotting seat according to that.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course is very challenging obviously as we're studying to become doctors. it could've been better by increasing the duration of the course. our first year/ semester instead of it being for 12 months was only of 9-10 months so our portions are being pushed a little. it happened due the scam etc around neet and our course start date was pushed. the course could be made easier by increasing the duration of the course. we have exams every week which does make it easier to keep up with the portions but makes it too stressful for us. maybe instead of keeping exams on monday they could change it to saturday so we can relax and be free on sundays.
