Course Curriculum Overview

4

As this is medical course exams are always very tough to even pass. Labs are okay. Final exams are conducted by university so no problem. Internal exams are slight difficult than university exam itself.

Placement Experience

4

On an average in first attempt about 20-40 students per batch that is 200 students get selected for various pg courses in top colleges of country. Others repeat and most of them get selected in 1-2 attempts.Plain gets MBBS 50000 per month in primary care in rural areas.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Being a government institution fees structure is completely feasible for all students. Its not very expensive and is according to the reservations. Also some scholarships are alloted to the deserving students.

Campus Life

4

Extracurriculum of the college is great. The labs are well arranged with apparatuses and specimens of all the things which are necessary to be learnt by students. Sports are also given importance with the gym material and a ground for outdoor sports where synergy a sports meet is arranged

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostels are pretty good. Cant expect big rooms and great furniture in government hostels but its livable. Washrooms are clean and hygienic. Mess food is not that great but yea can adjust with it. Fees are also very affordable.

Admission

The college offers admission into its MBBS program based on NEET rankings. NEET cut-off refers to the minimum rank that candidates are required to secure in NEET to be eligible for admission into the college. NEET cut-off score of individual medical colleges is released after publication of NEET Results. I scored 456 in NEET and was able to get into this colege.

Faculty

4

The faculty of college was combination of both good and bad. If I rate them on scale of 1 - 5, 5 being Excellent and 1 being worst. My rating would lies between 1.5 - 3. Some of the faculty were not well qualified to teach medical students. They just completed their medical and joined as faculty.

Your postings will get start from 2nd year and then you can call yourself as a doctor. Final year have all clinical subjects. First prof have anatomy biochemistry and physiology. 2nd year has pathology pharmacology and microbiology and 3rd prof has forensic and community medicine then your internship of 6 months comes

Course Curriculum Overview:

New nmc curriculum is quite clinical based and practical also the practicals in different subjects help us to grab the concept even more. Syllabus is quite vast and difficult to cover. Exam frequency is very high evil give pcts after every topic completion and two internals and two centres and one professional exam is also there.

Well medical colleges are not meant for placements as most students have higher studies plan. Delhi's prestigious hospital groups do come for placements and also offer a bomb cheques to the students but of role that they might not consider.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I've always wanted to become a doctor. Every batch consists of 150 students and for every subject, there are at least 4-5 professors. All faculty members are of course doctors with varying degrees of specialization in their respective fields. Their teaching method is through PowerPoint slides for theory classes and practical's are held in respective labs as it happens everywhere else usually. As for now, due to COVID exams being postponed otherwise before the pandemic, exams were held on time. Exams in a medical college are always slightly more difficult than other courses otherwise if you study properly it's not that tough to pass.

Admission:

The admission is done purely on the basis of your NEET score. A cutoff is declared after the NEET results are out. A merit list is taken out. Upto 3 merit lists are taken out on regular intervals of 2-3 days during the admission and counseling process. I scored 474 in neet and got admitted to this college.

Remarks:

PGIMS Rohtak as everyone know is one of the oldest medical colleges in India. It is also one of the reputed colleges. It was given an A+ grade. It provides quality education to the students who thought it might be lacking a bit in infrastructure and extracurricular activities.
