The course of Nutrition and Dietetics gives us the tools to start our career and open our own clinic as soon as we graduate. This course is of 3 years and 6 semesters and includes group work, seminars, presentations, practicals, assessments and so many activities which make us job-ready. Here the study is done on a practical basis with different workshops and industrial visits which make us more practical and professional.

Chandigarh University provides best placements and it is the first university to forge with 275+ international universities tie-ups and placements. As it is the new course introduced in the university in 2018 so till now there is no 3rd year which has gone for placements but surely in coming years, there will be best placements as it as tied up with renowned hospitals such as Max Hospital, Fortis Hospital, Apollo Hospital etc.

Chandigarh University not only focuses on academics but also on co-curricular activities. Many events were held until now. Many great personalities have come and addressed the students. One of the biggest events which held recently was Punjab Youth Fest 2020 in which all universities of Punjab took part and showed their talent. Chandigarh University got overall championship trophy in National Youth Festival.

This course is for 3 year and annual fees are 300000. The fees are paid semester wise offline and also through online mode (NIFT, RTGS). There are additional fees for exams which is 2000 per semester. The fees are feasible and the university also provides scholarships.

Yes, the university provides many scholarships to the students. Even it provides a scholarship of 10% to the students who continue to study masters in this university after graduation. The scholarships are also provided to the SC/ST students who have secured marks above 60% in +2. The scholarship is given according to the marks. Moreover, the university has tied up with international students and provide a 100% scholarship to the eligible students.

This university has almost equal gender ratio. They stand for female rights as well as male rights. Everyone is considered equally and is given equal rights. There are many girls taking part in sports and winning medals and trophies in national categories. There are many international students as well and nobody is judged on the basis of caste, colour or religion.

I was having a keen interest in nutrition and dietetics. So I searched for its courses in different colleges and universities. Finally, I got recommendations for Chandigarh University and searched for it. Then I decided to take admission in this university and called them up for admission and requirements. I got admitted through online mode and paid some amount of fees and on May 26,2019 I visited the university and payed full fees and finally got admission.

The number of lecturers depends upon the number of subjects per semester. As of now we have 8 lecturers. We have doctorate and masters qualified faculty with a great experience. They make us understand the topic with practical examples and clear our doubts as well.
