University management is the best and very supportive.

Course Curriculum Overview

Following examination are conducted by the University. Internal exams theory is carry 30 percent of the syllabus and happen two times in a semester each of 33 marks. External Examination: They are of 70 marks and take place twice in a year.

Class Size: 35Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Placement Experience

The University has the maximum number of placements in India. Recently more than 600 MNC came to university and placed more 3000 university students.

College Events

The University conducts many events every week like technical fest, Bollywood nights, concerts. the university is famous amongst many university students for organizing live concerts. these concerts are done by top singers like Badshah, DIljit amongst many popular singers.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees of the University is feasible and the best amongst many NAAc and NIRF accredited universities. The student can pay fees, via bank transaction, online neft mode, demand draft. Students can also avail loan facility to pay the fees. This supports a lot of parents.

No, I did not opt for scholarships but the university has scholarships for many eligible students.

Campus Life

University ha slot of laboratories in each of its departments. its has the north Indian first Microsoft Innovation Lab, First HP lab centre. Each of the computer labs has hi standard make the university to have the best infrastructures. The University has amphitheatre classrooms.

Alumni/Alumna

All the alumni and seniors are well placed and keep coming to the university for various professional events.

Admission

I had given my entrance exam for Chandigarh University in the month of May in the year 2016. My centre as itself at the university. I had applied online via net banking at the official website. Thereafter the online examination card was downloaded and I was asked to come and give the CUCET.

Faculty

The faculty members at Chandigarh University are Known to be the best amongst many Universities in India. These faculty members are Doctorates and PhD holders from various reputed universities in India. They have many patents and have published their research in many reputed journals.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course that is bsc in artificial intelligence and data science is quite demanding and I think this is the only field which is growing faster. Another reason for choosing this was I had huge interest in this field. But faculty,their teaching way and syllabus is too way less as compared to course. They focus more on their rather than the practical work but in this field practical work is more important than theory as theory plays no role in this field . They must reduce the number of mid sem exams conducted and focus more on making students better in practical work. After the starting of semester, just after 25 days when syllabus not even completed as the 1st unit.. they shout spreading the news of exams. We just got too busy in exams which make us feel distracted from our real work .

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
